Outlander. Jamie & Claire. The Night We Met.

Outlander is the hit drama on the Starz network, and stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. The series is based on the best selling books by Diana Gabaldon. Too much? I know, I post a lot of videos. I actually have a library of songs that I would like to use for future videos. I enjoy making them very much, and knowing that other Outlander fans might enjoy them encourages me to make another. The songs usually inspire what I do. I heard this song, "The Night We Met," by Lord Huron, on a Netflix show, and I loved it. I thought it was hauntingly beautiful, and I think it has an old school sound. The lines, "I am not the only traveler..." and "Haunted by the ghost of you..." reminded me of Jamie and Claire. 💙

Que de magnifiques souvenirs. Quand il est mourant à culloden et qu' elle traverse le champs de bataille toute vêtue de blanc avec cette musique, je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de pleurer. De même lorsque 20 abs plus tard elle est sur les marches de Lallybrock, qu'on entend toutes les voix: rabby, jenny, Jamie et surtout quand elle le voit apparaître sous le porche. Claire stomps out because she's so angry at Malva, not because she believes her, but Jamie's guts get twisted afraid that she believes it. Like the time the French Minister of finance was schmoozing at Claire and clutching her in embrace. Jamie just peeled him off and tossed him the pond. He never thought for a moment that she was willing. He wants her to think the same of him. Believe in him despite evidence, beyond reason. It's a sweet re-establishment of their attachment to each other
