She could have been smart and moved this argument in the direction of “if Frank isn’t born then I won’t marry him and if I don’t marry him I won’t be there to go through the stones in Scotland and meet YOU”

That was the most dynamic scene of Season2! Sam Heughan was outstanding in this scene. 👏Even though Claire only asked for a delay, Jamie had no idea if he would ever get another chance to take his revenge on BJR. I thought it was selfish of her to ask him to give up this opportunity. Worked out in the end though at the Battle of Culloden.🙌

She didn't know that and also logic stands that if Drank never existed then a large portion Claire's own timeline would change as well. Which makes sense. Clear was only in Scotland because she was on her second honeymoon with Frank. Also why wipe out the rest of the whole Randall bloodline because of one evil man? Jamie's own paternal grandfather was a terrible man as well.

I can't stand when someone puts 5th blame on the mother. It is not her fault that she lost the baby. It's no one's fault! Like others said with Randall gone roo early that will mess with her timeline and could change her from going to Scotland and meeting Jaime. No one is at fault but Randall for causing all that evil.

Frank hatte schon Alexander auf dem Radar. Nur war dieser ein Priester oder Pfarrer in armen Verhältnissen. Der ältere Bruder ging zur Armee, und das Black Jack. Also interessierte Frank sich nicht für den jüngeren Bruder. Erst Claire erzählte es ihm, als sie zurück kehrte. Es gibt einen Brief, den Brianna mit Roger fand, in dem steht, daß der Reverent Wakefield nicht mehr nach Randall suchen soll, weil er nicht das ist, was Frank angenommen hat.

Superb acting by both even though I thought Claire was being quite selfish and shallow, throwing in Jaime's face, how many times she has saved his life ! How many times has he saved her life ? His own wife not taking into consideration how Jaime must be feeling, short of castration, Claire is his wife and soon to bare his child, If I were him, I would have questioned her love, marriage ? He has such an allegiance to Claire during good times and bad, and she him. If I were Jaime, I would have to question Claire about using saving his life in the past as leverage ? Shame on her, even though she was trying to protect Frank's family legacy 😪 My heart is with Jaime on this one 💯
