The two are definitely good friends and clearly comfortable with each other in the 2014 screen chemistry test. Cait was already dating Tony McGill, her real life Jamie, at the time but she seemed intrigued by Sam. Sam was clearly head over heels smitten with his soon to be “telly wife,” but Claire remained more cautious, keeping things between them no more intense than a strong friendship. I suspect that Sam has continued to carry the torch for Cait for all these years, but he has been totally sweet and respectful of any limitations she may have quietly imposed upon their friendship. I disagree with some fans who have insisted that they are “secretly dating”. Cait may have been briefly intrigued by Sam and admired her hunky co-star a lot on some level at the beginning, but clearly now her heart is all Tony’s and totally wrapped up in being the mother of their son. Now ten years later, Cait has been very happily married to husband Tony, and now she is the mother of their beautiful son (who’s his spitting image). Sam and Cait are both still great friends 10 years later, but clearly Cait is a bit more distant with Sam now that she has been a devoted wife for 7 years and has been mother to her growing son, who occupies a lot of her time and attention these days.

Le cri fe Sam Heughan exprime une réelle exaspération ou je me trompe ? 🤔 Il n'a pas l'air plus enthousiaste que çà. Impression personnelle : il fait le job mais semble désireux de passer à autre chose. Bon, je suis française 😅 donc peut-être un peu trop critique. Pourtant, je les ai beaucoup observé sur leurs différentes interviews et Sam Heughan a l'air distancé, comme ailleurs. Il paraissait beaucoup plus à l'aise et détendu avec Prianka Chopkra, sa partenaire dans," In love again". Peut-être un effet de surmenage ?
