This super-romantic show does inspire us all to romantically act out and enjoy our own steamy peak challenge. Love watching Sam blush that he has been an inspiration to so many women imagining their own partners as Jamie and creating their own Fraser’s Ridge families. Adorable kids came out of all of this. Cait seemed to enjoy all of the inspired future Outlander fans and watching her friend Sam squirm in discomfort.

I loved the highland outfitted toddler in one of the Fraser tartans and bonnet with broach. What a cutie pie. Sweet, gentle, and kind Sam would make a wonderful dad, but so many female fans’ admiration of him seems to have the opposite from intended effect of bringing out his shy and embarrassed side and serving to make him recoil from the idea of fatherhood instead of encouraging him towards it. I hope for the sake of adding a beautiful next generation to the human gene pool that Sam finds the right compatible lady who will make him incandescently happy for the rest of his life and overcome his shyness about starting a family.

The show supports the idea that older people can have hot, romantic lives. Both Murtaugh and Jacosta were having a great time together in their rendez-vous location despite being older. Jamie and Claire were even hotter together after their reunion in Edinburgh after 20 years apart than when they were younger and more energetic. One of the hottest scenes at Fraser’s Ridge was of Claire and Jamie lustily celebrating his 50th birthday. Cheers to the show runners of Outlander for recognizing that older people can have hot romantic lives too. Why should only young people have all of the fun?

Robert the Bruce! Its me again. You are right, as far as it goes. Its more than unpleasant, its Horrific. But for the most part its not too bad. Like you I do wonder how her mind works ( writer. DG). Writing all that horror. Its a really beautiful LoveStory and historical, which I think is overdone, ( way too many words ) and the horror is still going on, and will until the end, I read the books. You know what I do, I skip over the bad parts. There are really more good things than bad, it just doesn't seem like it sometimes. In an interview one time, the writer said she got the idea from The Game of Thrones( what happened to Jamie in season one), but in GOT it was a woman. They said there wasn't going to be so much of that this season. More peaceful for Jamie and Claire, and right off the bat more violence ( end of the new episode.). They also changed a scene from the book and took Jamies ring instead of Franks. Only enjoyed about one quarter of that episode. So I know how you feel.
