In the first book, when Claire travels the first time, she was wandering around the stones looking for a scarf she left behind and was absentmindedly thinking of Captain Black Jack Randall who was Frank's ancestor he was just telling her about. I think she accidentally was transported to him because he's the first person she meets when she goes through the stones, not Jaimie.

Denn wenn sie jemanden das Leben durch Heilung rettet und er dadurch z.B. eine Familie gründet und Kinder zeugt dann verändert sie die Geschichte.Aber um größere Geschichts- Themen zu verändern braucht man eine sehr grosse Energie von sicherlich vielen Menschen....

Time travelers can definitely change the past, but probably not huge differences like wars. Claire and Bree’s conversation in S5 about her attempting to make penicillin basically confirms that. Plus in the books Lovat’s seer says that people’s actions can change outcomes.

More people I think are travelers . #1-2 Clare's parents. #3 the nun in France the hospital .#4 Clare's uncle the Egyptolgest , #5 the Indian woman that was stopped in her tracks after seeing that stone necklace . #6 could be the French chemist lady assistance. #7 And maybe Fiona. Or someone in her family . Other than a love(or ghosts) connection perhaps , political or strong of justice. Could be a reason that one can time traveler. Along with other things you mentioned. You as a time traveler is a calling.

Oops! While you included the video of Roger when he found the standing stones in Upstate New York (if I remember correctly) after briefly escaping from the Mohawk, you didn't mention those stones. So there were 4 portals and now Brianna may have found a 5th portal in Scotland when her co-workers locked her in the tunnel. It was fascinating to see Brianna and Roger discuss it by looking at a map of the area to see there may be a connection to Craigh Na Dun!

Small detail of correction if I may, when pronouncing “Ocracoke” it sounds more like “Okra- Coke” when you combine the vegetable Okra and the soda Coke. Sorry it sounds like nails on a chalk board the way its pronounced in this video. (Traveled there many times and it’s mostly an Eastern North Carolina thing 😊) Otherwise this was an informative video on what seems hard to keep track of especially with the season 7 episode 5 “visiter” that we experience and I’m hoping it’s Da and no one bad. 🍻 ❤

They travelled back to warn Claire and Jaime of the fire. Now that they survived that, the Mack’s don’t have any real reason to go back. Their current time is safer for them and their children to exist in. But knowing this show there’s likely going to be another reason for them to return.

Claire introduced penicillin 150 years before it was supposed to be. So, she gave the bugs a 150 year head start. These bugs now would be resistant to most antibiotics. I believe Claire inadvertently caused the death of thousands in the future.

I’m really confused. I’ve watched the series through several times. I don’t remember ever hearing about Master Raymond being a time traveler in the series. Is it in the books? I haven’t read the books but I know the series pretty much by heart at this point. How did I kiss this?

It’s been many many years since I’ve read the books but I thought Master Raymond was known to be a traveler. This was a book situation, not a TV series thing.

It’s a bit more obvious in the books, but I believe Raymond also makes a reference to being interested in things “not from this time” in the show. There’s a novella called “the space between” (I haven’t read it myself yet) that gives more background on both Master Raymond and Comte St Germain and their relations to time travel.

I just hope that when Diana explains all this (if she does), it won't be a modified explanation due to all the theories out there and that she stays true to what inspired her from the very beginning . If I remember correctly, the TV series ''Lost'' and the sequels to ''Star Wars'' had their stories changed because many fans guessed what would happen. Well, the result was not the best move of the creators who saw their basic ideas truncated. I hope she sticks to her guns is what I'm saying. Sure, you're never safe from a new idea. But the worst thing is reacting to what fans say or hope.

The books do not indicate Willoughby, the shop girl, the seer, or the Indian woman. There is a distinct difference between travelers & those who deal with mystical & spiritual aspects. There really isn't an absolute guideline to time travel, as Claire told Donner. No one that they know of knows for sure. Claire, Roger & Bree, traveled 202 years either way. Speculation as to how Geillis went further & a blood sacrifice, it's just that, speculation. If you want some further insight read The Space Between- it gives more story On Raymond & Compt St. Germain

as someone somewhat (two years at school and I still remember jack shit lol) familiar with mineralogy, the idea of a "gemstone" is so funny to me. like what are the criteria :D it's all just minerals. can you travel with a piece of silica? do the stones know the difference between silica and chalcedony? :D does it have to be a certain hardness? would synthetic work? or does the traveler have to see the gem as something precious. could you use organics? it's not a mineral but it is still classified as gems. it would just be so funny to me if someone traveled through stones and then later discovered graphite from their pencil was gone xD pencil is a girl's best friend :*

No one really knows why Jamie’s ghost is there, but it’s strongly believed to have to do with the ending of outlander, which hasn’t been written/ published yet
