I can't stand Frank. He's a jealous, manipulative narcissist who ultimately wanted Claire to be left with nothing, no memories, no hope, no daughter, no life. Yes he is tragic but he's also a terrible person.

I think she loved Frank as much as before she met Jamie. She was just never in love, as with Jamie. It was strong but never the biggest/love of her live. The love to Frank was the same before and after, but never enough.

@@thernfoster2387 He cheated on her throughout their ENTIRE marriage, but yeah, let's blame the woman. It's not about Jamie being better looking thank Frank, it's that Jamie loved Claire fully for being herself, which Frank never did.

@@amyparker9816their entire marriage? No evidence of that. Near the end, yes, when it was clear Claire had given up and would never really love him, but he certainly never cheated their entire marriage.

@@charliefen Do you only watch the show? He literally cheated on her during the war (so right after they got married), while Claire was in the past and he thought she was dead or had been kidnapped, and all through their time in Boston. Show Frank was far more likeable than Book Frank, they made it seem like he spent every waking minute desperately searching for Claire when he that simply was not the case in the books.

@@amyparker9816 I have read some of the books but this is a clip from the TV show, so we can only go by that, as the books and show differ. In which case, he only had one affair and that was justifiable.
