I remember as a kid back in 1970s watching the figure 8 racing at State Line Speedway outside of Post Falls, Idaho. The races then was crazy back then when you see more crashing at the crossing.

@@LBTVproductions you have never been to a mud bog? look up perkins spring sling 2018. best michigan mud bog. minimum 44 inch tires and minimum 450 horse power. there are trucks out there that run on methanol and are pushing 1500 hp. all in Dan perkins back yard too!

to be honest I do not like what figure 8 racing has become... when my dad was doing it in the early 70s it wasn't about thousands of dollars worth of equipment be babied around the track to protect their big investment.. it has really diminished the appeal of the sport... it's quite honestly gotten very boring and almost unwatchable.. I cant see how it could be much fun to do it anymore.

Even the 80s growing up in central Florida it was the "street stock" cars and they never thought about slowing down for the X it was always go or blow cause I was kinda thinking the same thing these 5-6 digit outlaw cars are NOTHING like the pioneers of figure 8 racing yes there are a lot of great drives but it's not what it used to be

Well you’re Californians so.... To call it an intersection is gay as we in the fly over states is correctly called the crossover
