Thanks for your videos. I like that you capture good trail shots with a camera instead of a drone.

Nice videos. I really like that you keep you Jeep basically stock. To many push the build when most don’t need most of those mods. I just did Outlaw last week, it was fun & I enjoyed it (as well as the Hananki heritage site).

Just ran this trail the other day in my 06 Suburban Z71 with 33s. It's definitely a fun trail. Challenging drive in some areas with a rig as big as mine. But all the views and the Honanki Dwellings made the drive well worth it.

Very cool! Glad you had a great trail run. The day I did it, the trail got pretty busy with SxS but that was on a Saturday.

Love your videos! I like that your vehicle is stock, it gives a realistic view of what the trail is like and boosts my confidence in trying new trails as a relatively new off roader. I haven't had the opportunity to do but a few of the easier trails you have featured but looking for a Sedona trail in the next few weeks and this looks interesting. I have a 2023 nissan frontier pro4x, totally stock. In your opinion, will I have enough clearance to get through without too much problem? Thanks for any input and keep up the great videos!

Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoy. Sorry but I am not really familiar with your vehicle/ how it compares to my Jeep. When I ran this trail my Jeep was a stock Rubicon on 33” tires. I got through this trail without any issues really. I know that doesn’t answer your question but hope it kinda helped.

Thanks for the info. You have a bit more clearance with 33s. I'm only riding 30in tires and I think 9.5in clearance, so this may be a no go. Thanks for what you do!

@@kensturdivant4098 I think you've got it! I did it the more challenging way (north to south) in my completely stock 1996 Tacoma. 31" tires. Clearance should be about the same and didn't get close at all. Also, like you, I was a pretty new offroader at the time and it was a great way to get my feet wet in it.

Thanks @platedude44! Next question. I can't find anything called outlaw trail on my maps. Any advice on how to get to the trail?
@Trail89Adventures
@Trail89Adventures 8 ай бұрын
@@kensturdivant4098 ok here is the scoop. I would suggest using the Trails Offroad app. Disclaimer-I map trails for Trails Offroad. I have mapped many of the key Sedona area trails and created trail guides for Trails Offroad. They are super helpful and provide great information waypoints, pictures, descriptions of hard sections, etc. However to get to Outlaw here is how you do it. From Highway 89A between Cottonwood and Sedona, take Forrest Road 525 (Loy Butte Rd) north for about 6.5 miles. Outlaw Trail will be on the left. The Outlaw Trail is made up of three different forest roads: 9459, 9549B, & 9551. Using the app, you can use follow mode and it will guide you right along the trail. Hope that helps.

Gopher snake? I geocaches and run across gopher snakes alot, only run into rattlers once maybe twice a year. I don't mind Rattlers that are cool with me being there, but the ones that rattle at me scare me a bit.

I believe it was a gopher snake. That is what some folks said it was when I showed a close picture of it. Haven’t seen a rattler yet but I am sure they have seen me out hiking!
