I work in Arkansas largest gun shop... I’ve deal with high end guns all day everyday. My favorite? The marlin 30-30. The one I have I’ve killed probably 30 deer with it. It’s just deadly... I’ve never missed with it, and everything has only been shot once and recovered with in eye sight of where it was standing when I pulled the trigger.

My first rifle was a Marlin 336! I gifted it to my sister when I bought my Weatherby Vanguard. I missed the old lever and I searched for years before finding a 336 XLR. Stainless and grey laminate. Gorgeous gun. You Should look into one.

a real unique gun that you would end up loving is the Remington 760 / 7600. the 760 was the first one they made and it turned into the 7600 down the road. its a PUMP action rifle and it comes in many cartridges. i personally have the 30-06. phenomenal rifle.

If you massage the thin spots the hair should grow in thicker. I had the biggest problem with my mustache connecting to the chin but then I started massaging it and it grew in thicker and darker and now I have a Viking beard lol. You should totally flip the rifle and if you plan on getting rid of the stokers stuff is totally be interested, I don’t have much memorabilia yet and that would be sick to have something from you hanging next to the dip run poster!

I have a Springfield 45 XDM, Thing is a beast! It is big and bulky so it's not that great for CC but it's a great gun, definitely reccomend. I just got the Tikka T3 30-06 and got my husband a bow tech so he can get into archery with me... also, yes, you should move.. no point in having 5 acres if you can't use it for whatever you want.

I had an XD-M 9mm, sold that and bought a S&W M&P shield 9mm! Thing rocks, of course I got a True barrel and Hyve mags. I love this gun because it’s light and thin, everyday carry!

I’d definitely recommend a mossberg patriot in 6.5 creedmoor. Ive never had a problem with mine and it is accurate as a mothertrucker. I also have it topped off with a vortex diamondback and use 130 grain hornady match ammo

Honestly the doctrine of a huge precision scope that’s super clear on a 17HMR, 22lr, and 22WMR really is a great school of thought. Say you’re out hunting squirrel and you don’t wanna move around a lot because it’s late season and they just aren’t moving so for one you can pick a spot to hunker down in to, be still and you aren’t limited in your sight distance. Two as to not ruin your meat you can easily take head shots. The head is a small area so in order to aim small miss small a precision high visibility scope exponentially improves your chances of a righteous kill. Let’s face it you want every last tasty morsel of that squirrel meat wether for fried squirrel, squirrel pot pie, squirrel stew, or squirrel and dumplins! Growing up in a southern farm family we were blessed with women who could make game dishes that were delicacies better than any restraunt. Any the thing my mam-maw and maw-maw could do with ground hog and rabbit would blow your mind. It was the kinda stuff you think Cracker Barrel should have! But can’t damage the meat and have to take the good clean kill when it presents itself because one or two squirrels ain’t gonna feed a whole family. Me, dad, and pop-pop all had to get our bag limits on squirrel and on rabbit and groundhog to have meat for the following two days dinner and supper! I know this is only a short part of what ya talkin about but I’d thought I’d share about the part that is important to me and greatly appreciate you bringing it up! Keep up the good work ol’ son! And yes the list of reasons why the 30-30 Winchester is the greatest deer gun/cartridge of all time is endless!!!!

Anyway, I couldn't help but notice that your commenters are only suggesting firearms that do the same jobs as the one's you already have. I can't imagine your 336 not being sufficient for hogs, I've taken a few black bears and a moose with mine just fine. However if you're looking for something newer and cooler, you should check out something in 450 bushmaster. You can get it in an AR platform and use the 223 mags. Or many different bolt actions come in 450 now as well. You won't be able to look at the ruger scout rifle in 450 and not smell hog meat lol. Cool perk is, if you ever need to reload ammo, it can use most any .45 bullet, like 45acp, 45LC, 45-70, 454 or 460sw to reload the 450 bushmaster shells. Happy trails Outlaw!

Smith and Wesson 40 semi automatic or a Ruger 45 Long Colt. You also need a Savage 270. It is a fantastic pew pew. You can take something down from 600 yards or from 100 yards. It is good for deer and elk.

id say the reason why you didnt get the deer you shot with the 7mm rem mag is the round you used. you may have used a round designed for more penetration and less expansion. outdoor edventures has a good video on which round is best for which game. you should go for a quicker expanding bullet, id say your bullet exited the deer before it could fully expand. the 7mm isnt a huge round and it is a screamer so quick expansion rounds are a must. the 6.5 creedmoor is a little smaller but its not as fast of a bullet but flies very flat and keeps its velocity further than most rounds and stays at a ethical kill fps and energy past 1000 yards for whitetail. freakin beast round
