I got into Arena in COVID and things really started clicking for me when you made an Izzet deck with Unleash Fury and a copy spell on Umara Mystic (a flying wizard that gets +2/+0 for spells). Slickshot is that on steroids and I immediately crafted 4 ❤

Izzet Aggro is my favorite go-to if it's doable! The days of Opt into 3x Phoenix with a Drake on board were unapologetically merciless.

Love it, kinda plays like a combo deck, but the blue helps you protect yourself. I wonder if a Gruul version would be good, or if the card advantage in Blue is too important.

Why oh why did mono red need to get new cards?! Who at wotc thought, “hey you know what deck needs buffing? Mono red! Let’s create more hasty, flying prowess types and trample effects!” It’s only slight worse than Azorious getting high noon

WotC has decided that standard will cease to be and it will become a 1 or 2 turn kill format. There now remain zero formats that aren't all about comboing off. If you want instant wins, play any format because it doesn't matter anymore. If you don't, don't play Magic.

slick shot show off is what we call a printing error lol, that thing should be banned :D 0 mana haste flyer that scales is like playing Magic while holding your opponent hostage.

It’s no 0 mana it’s a two mana flyer with protection until it attacks for the first time.

I love CGB and he is the only content creator on this channel I watch. But man he overthinks aggro and makes bad plays. I’m sure he’s proud to be a bad aggro player though.
