I was reading your post. I have a friend who is a Cole. I want to do the ABCs of prayer with you. It is as follows: Ask, Believe and Claim it as having been done in the unseen. I place my finger upon this promise and Ask:Matthew 18:19 44:50 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” I Believe that God will intervene in their lives and place enmity in their hearts for the up building of His church and I claim it as already done and praise His name for the Cole family to come to Christ and be baptized. Keep praying and praising for His promise is always yes and amen.

When I was 15, an Atheist told me that “God loves you!” really enthusiastically!! In some way, I believed him, and it would of seemed that because of that tiny little bit of faith, God pricked my heart just enough to let a little bit of his light in! That atheist was a fighter, blasphemer, looked at other women with lust, angry, but loved my mum. Yes, he was my dad on his early journey and search for God around 1984. My journey and walk with Jesus Christ hasn’t always been picture perfect (who’s is I suppose??) or straight, but it really took shape around July 2012, when I first started watching Amazing Facts, Pastor Doug and the rest of the SDA Ministers. Thx so much 😊

I live in Ecuador in a small village. We don't have a Pastor....well sort of. Right now we have 2 pastors from the States who occasionally will preach. Most of the time, it is a rotation of Church members that preach. I was one of them, but as my alzheimers has advanced recently, I thought it prudent for me to step down. I suppose there are pluses and minuses to this system. However, I believe the pluses outweigh the minuses. By preaching to the congregation, the participants become more engaged with their God. We actually have one teenager who also participates. This situation seems to generate more conversations on the topic, which I believe is a healthy outcome. God bless your ministry.

When a began my true walk with God, one of our Sunday church members asked me a simple question. Don’t you think it’s odd that the whole world worships one Sunday? The SDA’s are a cult. I said not if you strictly go from the Bible, which is my personal authority. I had gone through a prophesy seminar by Mark Fox back in 2015. After learning about the Sabbath, I will honor hat day with reverence for all the days of my life. I had asked the Lord in a prayer, why did I have a feeling of disconnect in my soul and my relationship with my own creator. Be careful what you ask for, in true searching. God may just give you what your want. In short I’ll tell you what I went through. A ruptured brain aneurysm and stroke. In a coma for 6 and a half weeks. My brain surgeon informed the family to begin making arrangements. Even he as my brain surgeon, gave me less than 48 hours of life expectancy. That was in October of 2013. I was in the Hospital for 118 days, then extended rehab from a brain injury program in another County from were I live. I had lost my whole. Childhood and was in complete amnesia and I had to mourn my mothers death a second time. I had to relearn everything. Walk, talk and all the things that we take for granted. I would do it all again because I for the first time in my life know I’m in the right place. I was born in Babylon, at the age of nine I left the church, and became a Baptist. I didn’t have a lot of knowledge. But I was banking on the time that the Baptist were here from our country’s beginning. Just because their orthodox, doesn’t mean they are right! At the age of 53 I became an Adventist. For the last eight years, I’ve grown in my relationship, with my creator; I’ve never experienced anything like this in my entire life! Just like Pastor Doug Batchelor has said many times. He would be willing to leave the SDA, for another church, if someone could show him a different church, that believed the words in the Bible and fallowed them better than the SDA.
@olgaburgos7780 Жыл бұрын
Good, but do not make an idol of the Sabbath, it is a day for physical rest but the true spiritual important test is Jesus who gives us the true rest , every day living in Him, with Him and because He paid our debt we rest from eternal death. That knowledge gives us the rest given by Him.

Its ironic you are talking about preaching from the Word of God, which I believe is the only Truth. Please be honest pastor, by acknowledging that SDA church interpret the Holy Scriptures through the lens of EGW, their prophet. Truth be told, the SDA church is not "Solar Scriptura".

17:05 The entire sermon was Bible-based, but this part here was especially strong, as the voices proclaiming doctrines directly contrary to what Jesus said, are loud and getting louder. There are 2 ways we can know for sure that the "sons of God" in Genesis 6 aren't angels: 1. Jesus said angels don't marry (and the onus is on those who say that "fallen" angels can marry to prove it) 2. "sons of God" never refers to wicked beings. (Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.) God bless you Pastor Batchelor!

#3. God created every being to only breed after it's own kind (Gen. 1:21-25). Angels are not humans. They are completely different species.
@sunnyjohnson992 Жыл бұрын
The first mention of “sons of the true God” IS at Genesis 6:2-4! That expression next occurs at Job 1:6 and here the reference is obviously to angelic spirit sons of God who are assembled in God’s presence, among whom Satan, who had been “roving about in the earth.” Again at Job 38:4-7 “the sons of God” shouted in applause when God laid the cornerstone of the earth. Clearly these were angelic sons and not humans descended from Adam, as they were not yet created. Psalm 89:6 also is about “the sons of God,” definitely heavenly creatures not earthlings. Second Peter 2:4,5 and Jude 6 clearly state the angels that sinned and “the angels that did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper dwelling place.” If it’s denied that “the sons of the true God” in Genesis 6:2-4 we’re spirit creatures, then those statements by the Christian writers becomes enigmatic, with nothing to explain the manner in which this angelic disobedience took place or its actual relation to Noah’s time!
@davidstarr6604 Жыл бұрын
@@sunnyjohnson992 You don't believe the sons of Seth had been created yet by the time Job lived on this earth? But no one has said the "sons of God" in Job were humans from this earth. And NOWHERE in the bible does it state they were angels either. You are putting too many unwarranted human assumptions on these texts. How could fallen angels EVER be considered to still be "sons of God"? Do you believe it was aliens came to earth and bred with humans? That would conform to many pagan religious beliefs regarding the origin of man. But it's just not biblical....

To those who tell you that everything is relative, that there is no absolute truth, you can point out that the argument destroys itself, for, if everything is relative, then the idea of everything being relative is of necessity itself relative. Or, put another way, stating that there are no absolutes implies the existence of at least one absolute, namely, the absolute that there are no absolutes, which is an impossible contradiction.

Yes. Absolutely no need for any prophets. Everything was given in the Bible by Biblical prophets. Ask yourself this basic question ... if I believe the Bible, am I saved? Or do I need to listen to so-called recent 'prophets' to be saved? I mean, what extra information would they have anyway?

You mentioned the history of the kings and brought up Sumerians. Can I find this in the bible or is it from a book of history? Such as, Josephus? I appreciate your ministry and understanding of the scriptures.

I believe he was referring to the Samaritans from Samaria... the "name used for the central region of Israel, bordered by Judea to the south and Galilee to the north."

The phrase "sons of God" is used in several places throughout the Bible, and it has been a topic of debate and discussion among scholars and theologians for centuries. One of the most intriguing references to the "sons of God" can be found in Genesis 6:1-4, where it is said that these beings married the daughters of man. In this essay, we will explore who the "sons of God" were and what their union with the daughters of man signifies. The passage in Genesis 6:1-4 reads, "When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the Lord said, 'My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.' The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown." There are several interpretations of who the "sons of God" were in this passage. One view is that they were angels who rebelled against God by marrying human women. This interpretation is based on a similar passage in the Book of Job (Job 1:6 and 2:1), where the "sons of God" are depicted as heavenly beings who present themselves before God. The Book of Enoch, an apocryphal book, also describes the "sons of God" as fallen angels who cohabited with human women, producing a race of giants known as the Nephilim. Another interpretation is that the "sons of God" were powerful rulers or leaders who saw the beauty of the daughters of men and took them as wives. This view is based on the fact that the phrase "sons of God" is used in the Old Testament to refer to kings and rulers (Psalm 82:6, Isaiah 43:6). According to this interpretation, the intermarriage between the "sons of God" and the daughters of men was a violation of the established social order, and it led to corruption and evil on the earth. A third view is that the "sons of God" were descendants of Seth, the third son of Adam and Eve, who were faithful to God and maintained their righteousness while the rest of humanity fell into sin and wickedness. According to this interpretation, the intermarriage between the "sons of God" and the daughters of men represents the mixing of the righteous line of Seth with the unrighteous line of Cain, which led to a decline in morality and spirituality on the earth. Regardless of which interpretation one accepts, the union between the "sons of God" and the daughters of men resulted in the birth of the Nephilim, who were described as "the heroes of old, men of renown." The Nephilim were known for their great strength and power, and they became legendary figures in many ancient cultures. The fact that their origins were shrouded in mystery only added to their mystique. In conclusion, the identity of the "sons of God" in Genesis 6:1-4 remains a matter of debate among scholars and theologians. Whether they were fallen angels, powerful rulers, or righteous descendants of Seth, their union with the daughters of men resulted in the birth of the Nephilim, who became legendary figures in many ancient cultures. The story of the "sons of God" and the daughters of men reminds us of the dangers of intermarriage between different lines and the importance of maintaining our moral and spiritual integrity in a world that is often corrupt and decadent. On angels do not marry - statement of Jesus-and give the counter arguments to that. The statement "angels do not marry" is attributed to Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew 22:30, where He says, "At the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven." This statement is often used to support the view that angels cannot have physical relationships or procreate, which would contradict the idea that the "sons of God" in Genesis 6:1-4 were angels who married human women. The argument that angels cannot have physical relationships or procreate is based on the assumption that they are purely spiritual beings and do not possess physical bodies. This view is supported by several passages in the Bible, such as Psalm 104:4, which describes angels as "spirits" or "winds," and Hebrews 1:14, which refers to angels as "ministering spirits." However, there are also several passages in the Bible that suggest that angels can take on physical form and interact with humans in a tangible way. For example, in Genesis 18, three angels visit Abraham and are treated as physical guests. They eat and drink with Abraham and even wash their feet. In Judges 13, an angel appears to the wife of Manoah and announces the birth of Samson. The angel accepts a meal and is even asked for his name, suggesting that he is a physical being. Furthermore, the idea that angels cannot procreate is based on the assumption that procreation requires physical bodies and sexual reproduction. However, the Bible also suggests that God can create life without the need for physical bodies or sexual reproduction. For example, Adam was created from the dust of the earth, and Eve was created from one of Adam's ribs. Jesus Himself was conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit, without the need for a physical father. In light of these counterarguments, it is possible that the "sons of God" in Genesis 6:1-4 were indeed angels who took on physical form and married human women. This would not necessarily contradict the statement of Jesus that "angels do not marry," as Jesus may have been referring to the state of existence in heaven rather than the ability of angels to take on physical form and procreate. In conclusion, the statement of Jesus that "angels do not marry" is often used to support the view that the "sons of God" in Genesis 6:1-4 were not angels who married human women. However, this view is based on the assumption that angels are purely spiritual beings who cannot take on physical form or procreate. There are counterarguments that suggest that angels can indeed chose physical form and abandon their angelic bodies and mate with humans in a tangible way.

false prophets... what about EGW being false prophet? She stole other peoples work and presented as her own. That makes her a liar and a thief. Does that mean she is still a prophet? Im confused by this.

Soon the Revivals and persecution will spread all over the world. All over the world, the Spirit is moving, all over the world. The older son not joining dosent bother mather anymore. It was prophesied, good luck with that. I'm 68, but in Spirit 12 have been stuck at that age, going in circles in a wilderness of sin. This is the best and hardest year of my life. persecution will be easier than this but not the best like this year. "From now on let no one trouble me,"

I believe in the 7th day sabbath, but, I also believe the son's of God referred to in the Genesis 6 passage are fallen angels because they are right now imprisoned in Tartarus for 70 generations! I haven't heard Doug explain that or refer to the giants that most definitely were the result of this unholy union!
