woah, ive never heard someone articulate the problem with so many touring skis so well! My dynasty m tour 99 do exactly what you describe. too much profile in the tip and the ski wanting to shoot upwards when opening up. My only problem with the echo is choosing between 181 and 189..

I have two skis in rotation. My Echo 106 are my 70% of the time ski. Renegades are my deep day ski. Both on ATK's w/ freerider spacers at the heel. I'm in Valdez, AK. :)

Just tested the Fischer Transalp 98 CTi on Sunday and yes - they do ski very well!! I do think the Faction Agent 2.0 achieves a similar performance though and is incredibly fun & strong too. Same goes for 105 CTi vs Agent 3.0. What do you think?

I am debating between Enforcer 104 Unlimited and the Transalp 105 (after seeing this video) for my next touring ski. Which one would you recommend more?

I’m biased toward the Fischer stuff, but I actually don’t love the unlimited at all. I’d go with a blizzard hustle, the transalp or the echo before those.

Curious what you think of Renoun Citadels as touring skis. Renoun calls it a 50/50 so maybe it's a different category but since you did mention some resort/backcountry dual use even here, I don't think it's too out of context.
