I'd guess the short stroke solenoid only works reliably because of the small flywheels. If you have 34 mm wheels, the dart has to travel 17 mm just to get to the middle of the wheels, after passing through the thickness of the magwell, dart guide, flywheel cage walls, etc. If your wheels are only 16 mm in diameter, then there's only 8 mm between the edge of the wheel and the center.

I'd love to see this on the shop! If the price was reasonable enough I might even pick up a couple! If I were to take a guess I would say he probably charges $350ish? Maybe more cause those are a tad bigger than my drones motors at $10 so I figure $20 for each motor, variable price for the Arduino cause chip shortage, and all the r and d that this guy did deserves a lot of $$. Nice blaster!!! Inspiring me to build my own with some drone motors I have laying around. It would be interesting to see if my 802s or 1103s could drive some flywheels!

@AirzonesBlasters3 жыл бұрын
The solenoid is likely based on an FJ-Z05. They're pretty gutless until you modify them though, and I strongly suspect this is running a different spring, and a rewound coil. I use those in Velcro/Mackrel, and they have been used by others on a couple of one-off mods over the last year or so. My guess on the crush is around 6.5 - 7.5mm (root to root) with an 11mm profile - i.e. the classic ultra-high crush football as opposed to a hycon style.. But yeah, welcome to the good side of brushless.. Once you've played with an ultra-light open-loop setup, or any closed loop setup, you can never go back to something like an fdl.

From what I’ve seen when it’s run at max settings (not including hidden menu), full auto by default will shoot about 10 rounds before shutting off to reduce the risk of parts being damaged or melting
@iDoPew3 жыл бұрын
That's a misinformation. There's a magcap-setting in the advanced menu. It is set to 16 by default. After this amount of darts shot, PewPew will stop firing. It can be set to whatever you want. For example 18 (overloaded talon) 29 (tachi), or even 0 for unlimited firing.

You know whats so cool about 3D printing? Everything that you print or create on a file thats shared on the internet, Never goes away so this means there are always more and more things to print and it never goes away it always get stacked most things never gets deleted commonly speaking because the 3D printing industry is always getting updated like this and if these things get updated, the whole world gets updated, i feel like we're in the early stages of 3D printing in the world, like once society was in the early stages of the internet, i wonder what else could be made possible, probably a whole new computer like universe made for VR glasses, if we make those things our world changes in the process aswell, hopefully in a good way, to bad there's people that copywrite their models and only release them for cash, its probably not going to last, it only holds the majority and the 3D printing world back when you wouldn't put those online for free, there once was music you needed to buy on CD, now its for free, even some games are free now, its only a matter of time where all of these models are for free on the internet,life is expansive enough and this should still be considered as a nice hobby so put those things on the internet for free please like its supposed to be, you could always put your label,name, initials on the print like a real artist, unfollowed by Greed.

As a person that is still beginning to get into the hobby; the sticker shock of that thing is insane, though. I'd happily buy something like that, but the highest I'd go is probably $150 to $200 - and even that's still stretching it. That's definitely not built to be a kid's toy, though. Any kid 13 and under would burn that thing out in no time because they'd stick to full auto all day, everyday.
@DevilZcall3 жыл бұрын
My recommendation to get started: stick to used blasters and cheap mods. Try to find a used stryfe, printed flywheelcage and basic motors (foamblast or ood). Find out what you like and try whatever blaster you can get your hands on at local games. The first printed blaster you build should be a talon claw from captain slug, because they are an absolute joy and very well documented, but you don't need that to start out.
@AirzonesBlasters3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately 200 bucks isn't going to cut it. Build a select-fire ultrastryfe, and once you've gotten used to how difficult it can be, then consider that something functionally equivalent that is half the size is at least 4 times more complex.
@obsidiansands3 жыл бұрын
@@AirzonesBlasters 200 bucks for a beginner would be still be too steep. You'd want people to GET into the hobby without sticker shock. The other gentleman that replied - Milan - had the best advice. You only start shelling out more money once you're already heavily invested into the hobby, and not as a newbie coming in. It's why some Nerf-KZbinrs here would initially suggest things like the Nexus Pro as a good starting point - it's ready to go out of the box without tweaking it without being ultra expensive.
@AirzonesBlasters3 жыл бұрын
@@obsidiansands Milan pointed out the obvious alternative. I'm pointing out why they cost what they do. Ultrastryfe will get you close to this blasters capability and will probably cost you around $150-200 or so to make - depending on the bits you use.
