Julian Pförtner . Idk if the choice of song was exactly right , but it was still great ! At the end of the song, he put the voice in another gear , sort of . Like the dot on the i. I recommend to check out the Blind Auditions from Ayham Fayad & Doni Wirandana. They also got 4 chair turns. Pity they were missing here but there were so many talents this year some unfortunatley had to miss out.

Dear Michael, I totally agree with what you said about I am a (classical trained) Rock, Blues and Jazzsinger myself, but,as you said, Luciano Pavarotti or Placido Domingo, and some other famous opera singers are another league. I've got a lot of opera singers among my dear friends.and am a little spoiled concerning good singing. What I was referring to -and some of the media-consumers here surely don't have a clue of it- is the simple fact that in Berlin an annual international and intercontontinetal (non TV) contest isttaking place: Euro Pop Contest where the youngest participants are 10 years old, the older ones up to 24. Each and everyone who is performing there went thru many national castings before coming to Berlin. The level of these young singers is extremely high because the have already mostly classical educated voices even when singing Pop, Rock, Soul or else. How should ignorants know that? Just blaming me of "no means" being a pro doesn't change the fact that people should extend their horizon and open ears and eyes to really see and listen what's way beyond media hypes. (Btw my fellow musicians all play in the upper league and worked with many of the so called "Big Names" or sold platinum and gold themselves. I at least was at least nominated or won the one or the other US award as a Rock-songwriter. But my goal is not to be rich and famous but to Rock the Gospel, may it be on big stages, may it be among the homeless on the streets. God knows! Stay faaatly blessed!!!
