Great video! On the subject of wreckage: Huge Wrecks give 300 mats for 25 power and the Core Tower converts 300 mats into 30 power. So if you're not capped out this is a great way to farm some free power as it comes off cooldown while you loot the zones.

I haven’t watched video yet and I’m about to watch it but in case… you can also break down trees for 6 power… you get three lumber… those three lumber give you six power when you break it down with the disassembler that gives you power. Bam, quick 40 extra construction materials! Makes a big difference sometimes, especially if you are on a level with a lot of trees!

Pro tip: When there's a map with one of those remote controlled cannons, you can use the cannon to blow up vehicle wrecks to get the materials.

Nice put together and informative. Was a few tips I didn't know. But allso got 2 I did not see in it. Base management: the operatives you put into improve the areas like merchant. if you throw some gear/weapons on them to bost their Combat rating they will be more effective. Since it is the CR that is used to calculate your effect. so whit 1 or 2 well outfittet operatives you easily hit lvl 4 especially if they got the speciality for that function. Return day. when you pick what to put into storage before call fleet. If you click field storage it will open your backpack and can be used to reduce difficulty. by taking som small but expensive items into your backpack which doesn't count toward difficulty/time for recovery. Usefull in the beginning. Allso think you should have mentioned that holding the most front base on return day will prevent side spawns. so if you put up all defence near base expect to be hit from multipel direction.

53:09 Not sure if this was a feature when this video was made, but I recently learned that if you right click on the displayed Risk Incidents on this screen, you can actually remove them for 10 power each. Very useful if you have a big haul and decide you'd rather not gamble on the incidents, since most Risk Incidents buff enemies as well as giving extra loot after you win on Recovery Day. There is now also a new button that lets add additional Risk Incidents for an escalating power cost. Not very useful in higher level runs, but in the early game Desert area, the events are mainly things like "Get 10 free logs for winning" that don't even buff enemies, so it's just free loot.

The only feature they had when I made this video was you could load into the game. Baha jks yer they didn't have this feature. So so many good features now. Video really needs a redo.

Make sure to gear up your operatives. It will greatly increase the CR rating. Which is how you can max out the bonuses in thr base management

Thanks for your comment. Yer the game is amazing but I got so lost at the start. Hopefully this will help others. When building I forgot you can use ctrl z to undo your previous things like you would normally.

42:15 if anyone has that mess of gear, you can press sort in the base warehouse and it will stay like that for the tour window backback . It will also remember if you do do any sorting by hand, but keep in mind if you ever press sort it will move everything.

When i use base scan, i see a lot of rare tags on the right side of the map during recovery day in one of the first levels but there is a huge wall in the way, can you grab those ? 2. Heya, the golden symbols appear on your tour map before you load into a location.There are gold locations that have better loot and where some blue prints are.

how the hell do you get stuff out of hte field storage on field day, I move all my ammo over there but then dont have it during the waves

On exploration days you put it in and send it off and you can't get it back on another exploration day. On recovery day (I assume that's what you meant?) if you click on the words saying "field storage" or whatever it says, it is actually a button that switches to another inventory screen. You can sent stuff from the collection of stuff you're choosing to put into the recovery craft to this inventory instead. Then you can send it from there into your personal inventory.

Just wondering how to open Ammo packs, when you turn 9 boxes of ammo into a pack how do you open the pack when you need the ammo boxes back??

Yo, You have to throw the ammo box on the ground ( unequipped/drop ammo box) and once the ammo box is out of your inventory and on the ground.Hover your mouse over the box and using the mouse wheel scroll down to the last option which should be 'Open'

@@SiNKiLLeR_ Indeed. It's kind of stupid that we need to do this. Why can't we craft a larger ammo pack? Then shove the whole thing into the autoloader. Logically a CIWS should probably need the entire ammo pack to load anyway. 2000 rounds would be gone in seconds.

At the moment there seems to be a memory leak issue or something like that someone was saying. I'm running max settings on a 4090 with no issue on my end. Some people say turning the shadows down or off helps their performance.

You gave a lot of info, however, you mention, "when the tutorial ends". How do I know when the tutorial has ended or, for that matter, when I have started it? I don't recall being asked to play a tutorial, so I am guessing it is integrated into the gameplay. This then has me thinking that, if this is indeed the case, the tutorial is rather piss poor then because I myself am doing my first Tour and still have no bloody idea how to build, research any of the camo I found, etc. Or am I still in the tutorial at this point. I really wish games were a bit more transparent about how we are meant to play them, instead of the infuriating "suck it & see" mentality of how to learn game mechanics. I'm not looking for " hand holding" but throw me a frkin bone, please!!

Yer its a rough start but it was way worse when I 1st played. Its definitely better now even if it doesn't feel like it. The tutorial is built into the game so its not as obvious.

I’m willing to bet there’s some sort of prohibition placed on the general with regards to being alone with a female subordinate, it probably came into place shortly after he decided to have a skin tight wetsuit integrated into the combat uniform.
