I understand what you're saying but while she is in Ghana I wouldn't advise it . Because guys like that can be dangerous for her wellbeing and Ghana police are not dependenble at all. In fact when I'm in Ghana I try not to depend on anyone 🙃

It's really sad that you have to go through this. I know there's dishonesty everywhere around the world but Ghanaians dishonesty is on another level. I grew up in Ghanaian and then moved to the States after high school, so I know what am talking about.

Its great that you showcase all aspects of lifestyle on the continent. I see a lot of youtubers only show the good part but we all know there's no place on earth thats all glitz and glamour. Even me as an Ghanaian, I always takeaway so much from your videos. Keep up the great work

I am very sorry to hear what you and your mum went through. Please be watchful and mindful of anything you come across. Please don't put your trust in any man. This is because whatever you expect from your fellow man, you will end up getting disappointments upon disappointments. Like you said, "There are wolves hiding in sheep's clothing," I agree with you 100% and it's true. I am very glad you shared this story with your viewers including myself about your experience to make us aware of the cons that happen in Ghana; so that anyone, who wants to visit Ghana from the diaspora doesn't fall in the same trap. Thank you my sister for sharing this with us.

Omg Sorry about your experience. Lesson learned. Not all people who wants to help are very honest. There are sometimes hidden agendas. I hope you meet very good people because there are good people here as well despite the fact that some people act different like that. Scammers everywhere in the media. Been scammed severally as an actor and a model who's building Career here . Actually born and bred here yet we go through those issues . Got tired and sicked of the level of dishonesty with majority of people who claim to be industry players. And end up kind of taking money and wasting time and also try initiating people into immoral acts like homosexual and many stuffs. We learn, we pay attention to people we allow in our spaces and we move forward. Stay positive sister. Better a little caution than a great regret they say. Everything happens for a reason. You saw it faster. Glad you didn't end up been taken advantage of to more deeper level in his dishonesty. You made it sis. Please be extra careful Much love to you sis

Hello Ny really sorry to hear about this. This happens all over the world not only in Ghana. My advice to you is be prayerful when it comes to relationships as only God can truly show you who people are. Let him guide you with any relationship you establish as people are not always who they appear to be. Please don't make this peculiar to Ghana as it's not

Its like we come here to join the evolution of africa as a whole, and us diasporans are always getting mislead and mistreated and it honestly turns you away from the whole culture. Im currently living here and it gets frustrating.. sometimes i think us diasporans have to form our own community here and its really sad to say.

I'm sorry about the negative experiences you've suffered and pray you find the right people to network with. Integrity is in short supply these days, and that goes for people everywhere, including people in the African Diaspora community. So, watchfulness and being discerning should be the guide in all interactions.

@@mslux3955 Liberia was a country that African Americans slaves returned back in the 17th century. When they arrived instead of integrating with the natives they felt they were smarter and better because they were from America, the results were wars in Wich Liberia is still damaged from that today, just do your research on Liberia, that's why thier flag is like the American flag

Age does not matter, lesson learned; you will not be the last. You should mention his name. What was the scam? I am sure you guys did not fork over any money. It appears that he didn't get anything from you.
@kanti89423 жыл бұрын
Your heading said you have been scammed but what you said had nothing to do about a scam. Most possible thing is the guy lost interest in whatever arrangement he made with you. Scamming is somebody tricking you to get your money which goes on in Ghana and other West African countries. Just don't let your guard down. Observe people closely before you have any dealings with them. Anything involving money, make sure you have the person's name, get him or her on video and a photo so you can pass it on to the Police in case they scam you ok
