Asaba is the capital of Delta State, Nigeria. A rapidly growing city, it is located at the western bank of the Niger River, in the Oshimili South Local Government Area. Asaba had a population of 149,603 as at the 2006 census, and a fast growing metropolitan population of over half a million people.

@@joshuaukoyen7820 how many million people do you think live across the Niger at Asaba and Onitsha banks? Some of these large towns have villages and forests trapped inside them. Imagine that ibadan city is almost as big as Lagos State 😂 that is where the concept of "built-up" comes to play. From Asaba to Onitsha you will feel you are in a continuous urban space( market , schools, churches, residential buildings, industries, etc). So it is massive in this regard.

@@detourist2025 You don't know what massive means man, having few population, and buildings around a major road doesn't make it massive, have u gone inside those streets along the road to see if it's well build with good roads network and have population of people living there. Asaba metropolic is small compared to any city in Nigeria. You can goggle it Asaba is the small capital city in Nigeria, it's situated on a road side, there are not upto 7dualized roads in the city and you say it's massive what makes it massive
