Another tip with synthetic curly hair! Instead of doing two-strand twists, since the parting process can make the hair tangle more sometimes, part the hair into somewhat big sections, apply mousse to the section (try to avoid running your fingers through the curls. you really just want to smooth the hair down), and then grab the ENTIRE section and twist it tight. Then wrap it into a bun like a bantu knot. You might need to secure it with a rubber band. Do this with all sections and then go to sleep with a bonnet on! The next day, you just take the knots down and refluff the hair (keep in mind you still want to manipulate the hair as little as possible). I did this every night and made a synthetic curly wig last almost a month without messing up the curl pattern and maintaining minimal frizz.

You might be able to pull all the hair back and twist it into one bun. For this I recommend waiting to apply the mousse until you're twisting the hair into a bun, so basically you just apply a generous amount of mousse to your hands and then twist all the hair together. I've done this before too and achieved the same result as the first method with a little less frizz.

I think the opposite I love synthetic big curly hair because to me it’s ok if it somewhat tangles… whenever it gets too bad I just cut the tangles out and then I’m left with a full kinky look still.
