It's surprising how well and fast the first 1986 version of this game moves. For the time it was a very good game. I was a child and I loved it. It is enough to mention the good Sega Megadrive version of this game.

The Complete OutRun Collection will now be complete. The OutRun Game Collection is now complete. I wish OutRun (1986) and OutRunners (1992) on arcade version could come back to United States along with us.

Even today on the roads I look for the silhouette of cities on the horizon. Great Great Game. along with super monaco Gp and top gear, best game of race that i played in the 90's.

I think Outrun 3 has a higher chance of coming out than the Ridge Racer 8. There are three reasons. 1. There was an Outrun 2 at British Racing Greats 2023. (Some Sumo Digital employees wanted Outrun 3.) 2. SEGA is considering the Outrun. (It was with Afterburner, which has not been announced yet. And from 2022.) 3. Lizardcube tweeted about OutRun.

Really makes me wonder how this game series became so beloved… considering the games had no identical features aside from the Ferraris and OutRun 2 got remastered 4 times.

@@RCTRWS why?? If it’s about going full throttle the entire time, then where’s the skill? There are far better games like Grand Prix, or Ridge Racer, or especially the Daytona series. OutRun is a boring game series, at least 2003 had the decency to try something new with the mini-challenges during the stages.

@@tedioussugar384 You can't hate on OutRun just because you haven't played it. Try playing Outrun2 or Outrun2006 Coast-2-Coast for the PS2 and XBOX. It is a good franchise of games.

​@@tedioussugar384man really said where's the skill? Try going full throttle constantly and you'll see where it takes you. The series is popular for the cars of course but it's more popular for the stagr to stage racing. You choose which path you take and it changes everything greatly, the level enviroments are very beautiful for both the pixel art Outrun and Outrunners as well as the 3d Outrun 2. You also need to play well to even get to the last stage not just get to stage 3 like it seems you got to before quitting and spewing this horrible take. The animation work on cars in Outrun 2 is great and whenever I start drifting in front of friends who never saw the game before they get a smile across their face, you also have a great gameplay mechanic in the form of slipstreaming where you have to go behind other cars to gain even more speed but need to watch out for corners to not crash and ruin your time resulting in not reaching the end goal. As far as arcade games go this is a gem and deserves the love

@@Miki-hk6vyquit after stage 3? Dude, I’ve played and beaten the ‘93 and ‘03 arcade versions, and tried out the online ‘09 version at a friends place on PlayStation. They’re all the same. Daytona > Outrun every time.

I really wish they would bring this series back along with super off road and hydro thunder, and stunt racer. Those were good days going to the beach arcades and playing them without a worry in the world. I wonder if we will ever see a racing collection of different games for the current systems.

初代のアウトランもアウトランナーズもゲームセンターでプレイしてた時やゲーム雑誌見ていた時は衝撃的だったのにアウトラン2を知ってしまった今二つとも見劣りしてしまう。アウトランナーズの日本とアウトラン2のインダストリアルコンプレックスを比べると絶対にインダストリアルコンプレックスがいい。アウトランナーズの日本はおかしい、桜の木と城壁ばかりで富士山はいつまで経っても通り過ぎない。

Sega Ages Outrun is an abomination. The graphical overhaul the game got for the Xbox 360 Arcade version was MUCH better.

That game is the remake of the original Outrun that was released for the Sega Ages 2500 series on PS2 for Japan only. It started in 2003 and finished in 2008 with 33 volumes.

There isn’t, he probably mistook the 360,PS3 and PC enhanced port of 2006 coast 2 coast. And that already had online on the og xbox and ps2, so does the psp ver.
