I definitely remember this band! They have a new album out, and I saw them live in September. They were great. Aaron never misses a note. They do a collaboration with the metal band, Dorothy, on the new album. It's not metal, but the frontwoman has an amazing voice. Very cool song. He's been doing country almost as long as he's been fronting Staind. He has several albums out. Many have charted high, even number one, but he's still an outcast in the country music world. I've seen him twice. It's just him and a steel guitarist (sometimes another acoustic guitarist), and again, he never misses a note. He has such a great voice. So full of emotion, power, and range. I love that bit of rasp he has, too. He throws in some Staind songs and tells the backstories behind the songs. He's got a very good sense of humor. Just a warning, he is very conservative, politically speaking, and makes no secret of it. Edited to add: He also does some covers. The guy can sing anything. Look up Aaron Lewis singing Plush by Stone Temple Pilots. It's old, but great. These days, he chain smokes when he's performing. I don't know how he's kept his voice in such awesome shape.

Man, I wish Durst didn't talk during the performance. It's the best version otherwise.

Yeah but it’s so forced. I do appreciate that he was trying to tell the audience about how talented Aaron is as they didn’t know who he was.
