Beautiful cards Gina. Love the technique and those silhouette stamps. Thanks so much for sharing. I think I told you, but you were the very first person I ever watched making cards on KZbin and I'm still watching you. You have a lovely calm voice and you demonstrate everything so beautifully. Fabulous job. Thanks so much for sharing.

hi, do you re-use your masking magic? If so, how do you store it?
@GinaKDesigns-StampTV5 жыл бұрын
@@shalacarter6658 Yes, you can reuse it. Just save the paper liners and put them back on or store them on a piece of acetate. :)

Gorgeous cards Gina, I love the Outside the Box idea, I have several small silhouette style stamps and never like to use them because I didn't know what to do with them. This is the answer, I will give this a try that's for sure. My favorite is the one with the Smile sentiment. Thank you so much for showing this great idea.

Is there a reason you used the black onyx instead of amalgam for the silhouette stamps?
@GinaKDesigns-StampTV5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jennifer, I used the Black Onyx because it dries a little bit faster and since I wasn't coloring anything, I just went for that. You can certainly use Black Amalgam ink if you prefer. :)

Hello I’ve been looking for a matte glue alternative to matte medium and you state in this video your Connect Glue dries without shine. I’ve just checked on the SSS site using your given link to purchase it & a customer has left a comment that it DOES leave it shiny when dry. Please advise.

Hi, Gina! Stunning as ever! :) I love using silhouette stamps because coloring images is not exactly my strong suite. Anyone out there with arthritis use the new Life Changing Blenders? I am wondering if they are easier to use than other blending tools. CheerS!
@Shiela_Reyman5 жыл бұрын
I do not have arthritis but I do have Multiple Sclerosis. I am often challenged with other blending tools, although I have many, due to the grip angle that my hand has to hold the tool. I LOVE the PF Life Changing Brushes because my hand can be at a normal "resting" angle vs. a more over the top type of "claw" angle. I can blend for a much longer period of time before pain/fatigue set in and end my fun. Hope this helps!
@GinaKDesigns-StampTV5 жыл бұрын
I have arthritis and these are way easier to use. I think you hold these in a more natural position and your hands don't get cramped up.

QUESTION: I struggle with silhouette cards as I am not a fan of black stamping? Gina, would stamping in another color still give a nice effect? Thankyou!
@GinaKDesigns-StampTV5 жыл бұрын
It would! If you used Navy or a chocolate brown, you can get beautiful results! It should be a darker color than your backgrounds to have this effect. :)

Beautiful cards, but can you please explain how to add the black border?
@Saintly25 жыл бұрын
When putting down your masking paper, why not line up the side that still has the backing and then lay down the sticky side. Then you just peel off the other side. First side lays down perfectly without any fuss.

Saintly2 Yes, I see what you mean.

Hi Gina, What cardstock is the best to blend on? Is it good to use your regular smooth cardstock or something different? I noticed that your cardstock with more tooth in it is listed in the supplies. I have trouble blending and I just purchased these two brushes, so this may help me. Thank you!
