I believe the other mace whip/morning star whip is the upgraded version of the Vampire Killer whip that you get in the original Castlevania games. I know in Super Castlevania IV, it was an upgrade that you would get to do more damage with your whip.

yes, according with the lore vampire killer turns into morning star by the power of the wielder. and the only game Simon uses his sword is Haunted Castle because is the last weapon upgrade.

Nice review. This I one of my favorite figures, in spite of some of it's flaws. Now we know why Simon wanted hide his face away from the camera on the front of the game cover!And the little jug accessory is supposed to be an 'invisibility potion' that shows up once or twice in part 1. It grants the player a whopping 3 or 4 seconds of invulnerability. Haha!
