THIS IS IT, FOLKS: the tiebreaker to decide the ultimate champion of Christmas 2024. The stakes literally couldn't be higher, here in the very last challenge of this year's Tournament of Champions. The winner will be hailed! The loser will be shamed! Mike getting flame-grilled by the rocket exhaust at 26:32 and Ellen's trademark giggle when she realised what had happened is probably my favourite moment. Great contest. So close, so chaotic, and I love the way the sound levels went up as the session proceeded. A worthy winner and a great choice of game as the tie-breaker.

MASSIVE props to the dev that accurately modeled an XB-35 for the flying stage. Proper props, proper canopy (including side pod and rear positions). Like…. That is a massively impressive reproduction of one of the lesser know parts of aviation history. I just about lost my mind when I saw it, one of my favorite planes, right after the N9-M (its predecessor, rip). Just amazed by that…. SO COOL!!
