Not sure if this counts because she gets some actual time alive, but Fallout 4 is absolutely determined to kill Glory from the Railroad. If you side with the Brotherhood or Institute you have to destroy the Railroad obviously killing her. If you side with the Railroad, she dies defending HQ. But worst of all: if you side with the Minutemen, every other NPC acts like she's dead even though she's not and just hanging out in the background.

Jenkins was WAY too motto in a way that screamed digital dead man walking second I saw him.. especially with all the talk of all the great "future" endeavors he had to look forward too and thirst for excitement... An if Trask had any number of specific metals in his blade he actually stood a good chance of beating that discount Sith Inquisitor... too bad everything else probably got him though

Erm, no. For all the heroics of Trask, he was not Force-sensitive, not a trained Jedi killer, he stood little chance against Darth Bandon even if his blade could reflect lightsaber. Because, you know, one wave of Bandon's hand, and Trask's pinned to the wall or electrocuted.

Actually Mike, excluding the main characters, the red shirts seem to have a statistically higher percent chance of survival than any other colour shirt... in The Original Series anyway. It is just that many more of them go on away missions, excluding the main cast.

Trask Ulgo is a bit more than just a redshirt. He ends up being the progenitor of house Ulgo on Alderaan. One of the missions in the Smuggler storyline of the SWTOR game requires you to retrieve the head of Darth Bandon because he killed the current head of house Ulgo's ancestor. I've been told that that is canon so.......I suppose he's redshirt with a legacy?
