Or a dagger, using the Assassin's Blade perk while wearing Shrouded Gauntlets you can deal 30 times the damage of whatever dagger you're wielding in a sneak attack Example: Say you had all that plus a dagger with a base damage of 7, do what I just said and that sneak attack deals 210 damage

I know I'm late to the conversation, but my favorite "weakness" of all time was Psycho Mantis from one of the Metal Gear games. He would evade all of your attacks by reading your mind and you had to unplug the controller from player 1 and plug into the player 2 port to stop him from doing so.

I think some of the rocks(for example during the warrior fight) are somewhat intended as the squishier of the Vault Hunters(especially Zer0) can´t just tank the damage and there´s otherwise no way to avoid taking the damage... Btw, this also works with Dukinos Mum(the one in Lynchwood, not the Digistrukt Peak version).

The first time I defeated the Master was by accident. I had blindly stumbled upon the church he is in and snuck down to the bottom floor. Apparently, they have a nuke you can arm, and indeed I did. Then I vamoosed as fast as I could, only to find out I had beaten the game without ever seeing the Master once.

Well done on getting such a range of titles in, I can't think of any other strange weak points, except for other fallout games where you can talk someone out of it. I suppose the boss of the Russia missions in Alpha Protocol could be weakened by his coke stash if you used a contact to spike it, but that's a bit of a stretch.

The final boss in Fallout 2 whom you don't even have to fight or talk to at all if your Speech skill is sufficiently high enough and you've acquired the Presidential Pass Key. First, there's a group of Enclave soldiers in Adv. Power Armour MkII wielding gauss rifles waiting just outside the final room that will fight Frank Horrigan for you if you can convince them to do it; secondly, there's a computer terminal in the room that you can use to get all the turrets to target only Horrigan. Once combat starts, you can simply stand in the corner looking bored until the big ugly g-man splits in half and dies. (Of course, you can always use your mutated toe on him as well, if you feel daring).

In Hollow Knight the Traitor Lord can be defeated by wearing all the minion charms then just wall jumping in a corner while your spider and fly friends chip down the boss’s health. I don’t think I’ve actually ever beaten him another way because this way cracks me up!

I guess with the bosses being Cyborgs the best weapon in Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the taser which stunned the bosses for about a second longer than it takes to recharge. It is pretty much the best way to non-lethally complete the game with a stealth build.

If you play the original version (not Director's Cut), boss #1 dies after 3 proximity mines which you can find 1 chapter earlier. Boss #2 dies from 1 gas grenade and a couple of mines boss #3 dies when you press the "knock out" button when he's on top of a wall boss #4 dies to a little bit of hacking or a laser gun.

From what I understand, Yu Yevon isn't just vulnerable to Zombie status. He's also vulnerable to Doom. Yep. Cast Doom on him, he dies in 5 turns. With the Zombie effect, you could just wait it out as his two statues slowly kill him. Or speed up the process a little by hitting him, making him automatically heal himself, only to do more damage instead. Oh and his Graviga or whatever spell harms everyone, including himself. Also you cannot fail that boss fight.

Overboss Colter from the Fallout 4 Nuka-World DLC. He's got electrified power armor that makes him invulnerable to all of your attacks and he's generally just a tough boss to fight. Even though he sounds all big and bad, he has one pretty big weakness: squirt guns. Shooting him with the squirt gun you get just before the fight will short out his armor and make him temporarily vulnerable to all of your attacks.

For some strange reason, All bosses(Minions, lieutenants, and Shepard) have a weakness to the M-920 Cain..... It's very weird, but I have a theory! The weapon is named after Cain, who in the tale of Beowulf Grendel had a cur-(5 Hours Later)-so as 920 is the area code for Green Bay, it is an obvious inversion! flying dutchman None of the enemies in ME 2 are particularly difficult (I'm sad that they nerfed the Krogan so much) but this it possibly the only part in the game where you can stand still and not get any damage from a "boss". What make certain parts of ME2 hard so to speak is the constant horde that overwhelms your NPC companions making it so you have to keep reviving them mid battle or as I like to do it, clearing out the field then reviving them to save on health kits

You can also beat the final New Vegas boss with some clever words. If you have 100 speech OR Barter, you can either convince him A. that the legion's factions are plotting against him, B. the West is so dependent on the NCR's trade routes that it's worthless without them or C. that taking the West will spread the legion too thin and leave the Legion powerless in both the West AND the East.

I don't know about everyone else hut I exploited the fact that in Skyrim, dragons have a certain spot on their side that is right in between their area that will trigger a bite or tail attack and when they trigger one the attack is slow enough you can just slightly side step it, all the while punching them to death because why not.

In all the FF games, if I can, I throw everything and use every ability on the emies. There is a boss that starts as a zombie, my brother tried raise to kill it, didn't work, I told him to try phoenix down, he tried to spite me, and it died (in a fit of rage, he restarted the fight to beat the boss without the down).

In some of the FF games there was an armor that gave you permanent, unremovable zombie status. Trick to using it? use vampire attacks, or blue wind. These would allow you to regain health even while zombie.... except... don't use vampire against zombie enemies. But that works both ways too. If enemies used vampire attacks on you while you had zombie they'd take damage. Except their HP bar was WAY longer than yours. So it wouldn't really kill them.

DOOM 2016. If you shoot a boss with a BFG, then hold the weapon wheel to slow down time, the damage of the BFG projectile's beam doesn't slow down, allowing for you to deal massive damage. Even more damage if you stun them with another BFG round first.

It wasn't very strong, but my favorite thing to do was get a jakobs revolver (or shotty) with high ammo capacity, take that one skill that gives you a chance to not use ammo in the mag (with an increasing chance the lower your health was) and just go down in front of a strong enemy, infinite spam so long as you have a maya to pick you up before you die. it is hilarious. helps if you have a good trigger finger.

yeah, the last boss is essentially jecht. and he doesn't require much more to kill him than seymour did, you can do it relatively easily after beating yunalesca, like most of the story bosses. little bit of tactics makes them more or less a joke, unlike the side bosses which require tactics and like 255 in most stats.

Fun fact about beating the master with the 'science method': It's practically a death sentence, because as soon as you finish the conversation, you're placed in a corridor that has about a dozen traps that will immediately wipe your health out should you leave. You also have to somehow get passed all of the traps within a few minutes too, because the master set off the nuke timer.

I'm going to be super OCD The Aeons where the dreams of the Fayth. A Fayth is A soul torn from it's still living body stored in stone. The Seymour's mom is the Fayth, Anima Is the Aeon. Titus is Kinda of Aeon, or dream of the Fayth. All The Fayths we see on the top of Mt Gagazet Are Summoning along with Yu Yevon the memory of Zanarkand or the Aeon Form of Sin. What ever final Aeon was used to defeat the last Sin became a vessle.

That's just sticking to cover. In Terramorphous peak, there is an area in the arena just outside the area waypoint (I think. Exploit this using one person in multiplayer who just stays there, or by jumping and shooting Terra. But as BL2 exploits go, I think you can't beat the Master Gee gate exploit.

I did the opposite with the Quiet boss fight. I made it as difficult as possible by only using the tranq pistol. I thought that if you used a lethal weapon to kill her, she would actually die and you'd lose her as a buddy. And I didn't have a tranq sniper rifle yet so I had to try over and over again before finally defeating her with the tranq pistol, which required such painstaking stealth, because I had to get really close to her to hit her with that pistol. It made the fight a lot of fun, but also took a long time.

When I first did that mission, I used a regular sniper rifle. Then when I got accustomed to the game and got the Brennan AMR, I pretty much used that every time I replayed. But then when I played the extreme difficulty version of that mission (you know, when she shoots instantly and kills you in one shot) I just said, screw this and blew her up with a tank.

This may not be the strangest, but I encountered this odd boss in a game called Atelier Iris 3 Grand Phantasm. It was an optional mushroom boss with extremely high regen and a high attack power. A serious P.I.T.A to beat. It took me about an hour(?) and most of my healing supplies until I decided to try something absurd. And that was how I found out this mushroom boss had a weakness for poison shrooms. Seriously, who would think chucking poison shrooms could help kill a freaking mushroom boss?
