Just got to the Animorphs chat and have to say, I'm a huge fan. Loved them as a kid, but the school library only had a few. When I became An Adult, one of the first things I bought was the complete set of every single book (and spinoff). I've also been curious for a long time whether Luke in particular was familiar with them - because in Oxventure's Out of Order, Dob names the bear 'Rachel'.

lol thrilled by the Animorphs shout outs. The books hold up incredibly well as an adult and aren't *too* difficult to find online, I absolutely recommend them for a reread (or complete read for anyone who only managed to get their hands on a few as a kid, like me). They're also being re-released as graphic novels. The author has some other good series as well. Truly far superior to all the other rapidly pumped out YA book series of their time. Of course this leads to the question... who is which Animorph?
