Let me clear some things up, Mai will actually come before Elena, the date placement on the season 2 announcement may be confusing for some, this was confirmed on the official Twitter account. Bison is also the same Bison from every other game, he's just an amnesiac, and yes, that means he didn't die at the end of A Shadow Falls, the scars that light up when he uses Psycho Power are from his final battle with Ryu in SFV, this was confirmed in an interview with Takayuki Nakayama on Famitsu.

Simple it's mainly due to 6 words ( 7 technically) Terry Bogard Mai Shiranui Street Fighter 6 It's pretty crazy that Terry and Mai are the first ever non Final Fight guest characters in Street Fighter ( yes Zeku was a strider but not exactly the Strider Hiryu that's well known) all this like 20 years after the last Capcom and SBK game and how both companies went through some similar situations like a decade ago

M. Bison seems to have become a big fan of Raoh from Fist of The North Star. Also really hyped to see Terry show up as a proper guest character in SF6. He's been one of my favorite SNK characters since a friend introduced me to thier games over 20 years ago and I'm always happy to continue to main him in as many games as will let me.

Mai is not the 4th character of the season, she's the 3rd. Capcom is a japanese company, and in Japan, they consider winter season when it ends, so winter 2025 is from December 2024 to February 2025.

I think the best business strategy right now for Capcom and SNK is just to allow them to have guest characters from each others games. Like Capcom can get 1 SNK character to put into their game, but in exchange SNK gets to put in 1 Capcom character into its game. And just keep doing this as DLC. Like seriously, just keep adding in characters and don't stop. Like Mario Kart 8, they are not changing the game, but rather just adding in new tracks.

As a big fan of Capcom and SNK fighting games, I'm really disappointed. SF 6 should have created more original characters or at least return some of the characters from previous games. Crimson Viper, Dudley, Gill, Yun and Yang are few of the characters I want to see.

This is the first time Capcom has put a guest character from another developer into a mainline Street Fighter game. Other guest characters have all come from other Capcom games. This indicates that Capcom is interested in working with other companies. Teken has recently featured Akuma as a character. There is a strong possibility of a Teken crossover happening on the Capcom side. Also considering that Capcom just released a collection of X-man games that include all titles from X-men: Children of the Atom to Marvel vs Capcom 2 it certainly looks like Capcom is ready to start making more Capcom vs games. Capcom vs SNK 3 would be absolutely wild. So would a revival of the Marvel vs series. The current heads of the fighting games division of Capcom seem really competent and passionate about fighting games. Capcom could be headed for a full revival of their long neglected Fighting Games tradition.

Quick correction: Terry Is not the lead of KOF. Frankly, he's more of a side character there. Having Terry appear in SF is so appropriate since the first Fatal Fury is, in a way, the real Street Fighter 2.
