He often gets into trouble with this song, and at his 2010 concert at Nippon Budokan, he fell before the song even started, and continued singing the first verse while lying down. Then, at 6:47, Taka said, "I got too excited and made a mistake in the lyrics! Sorry, I'll make it more exciting from here, so please forgive me."

Yeah you can really see just how much better he got over the years as a singer. His breath control is now top notch. But i think he was just really genuinely forgetting the lyrics here and that baffled him. we all have these blackout moments but it must be so embarrassing in front of tens of thousands of people LOL.

Yeah I would understand more so forgetting lyrics in the verse or bridge, but when a chorus repeats 2 or 3 times, you would think those lyrics would be more dialed in

Thank you for reacting to One OK Rock because I think they are so awesome. They are slowly becoming more well known outside of Japan although they have been around for almost 20 years. Taka is a phenomenal singer and a great front man. They have 10 albums and their latest songs have been really great like Make It Out Alive, Delusion: All and Dystopia.

Well i dont know whether this was due to breath issues, but Taka is notorious for forgetting his own lyrics 😂 he used to write them on his hands and looked at them during shows. nowadays there's plenty of fancams of him going "fack" full volume into the mic when he messes up.
