I’m a 61 yr old Heavy Metal listening Welder/Fabricator toughguy. In the 26 seasons of the Voice, I’ve learned to really love all of the genres of music represented. Geez, I wish The Voice would put stoppers on these types of videos---or, chapters, or whatever they're called---so we could go right to that battle!!! The Voice Australia, does it; I don't know why it would be so difficult !!! I don't even remember who Deva and Kay, were!! Sofronio's battle was horrible; both were just interested in riffin' and runnin', all over the place---the very thing Michael told them not to do. Danny and Déon were, by far, my favorite!! I also liked Jake, and whomever, and Shye, and I think the guy's name was Jamison (too bad he couldn't stay; his voice was really good, too). I also really like Lauren-Michael's voice---and, actually, the guy she sang with, was really good, too!!! Oh, also Austyns!!!

1st duet was awesome! Both had their own strengths but the also blended well together. 2nd duet with Stuck On You…didn’t really gel with their individual vocals but these guys need to BE an actual duo as their voices together were gorgeous. 3rd duet was just purely gorgeous …kudos to Gwen for picking a song that you rarely hear today!!! 4th was okay and the lady was awesome but the dude pretty much was out for himself and didn’t work together. 5th was lovely..both had really great voices and made the duet so sweet and different from the original for bonus points. 6th was so damn beautiful 😻 7th..Ohh..smart Snoop..two completely different genre singers with one Perfect Combination! 8th & 9th were just so-so. Last one was gorgeous!

I am actually starting to be concerned for the format of the show! The contestants are so good, that the judges' decisions are by necessity more and more arbitrary. Any given contestant could be a star. I don't see how they can possibly decide in the battle rounds. It is without doubt the best music on TV. Of that there is no doubt.

@@jimmalis5386 for the most part they did and Blake had more winners simply because of people voting for whoever was on his team regardless if another team had someone better. Same will happen this year either reba or snoop will have the winner just because of their fan base and it won't matter if someone else is more consistent and talented. That said everyone of this years contestants are very capable of winning and have already won just from the exposure they are gaining from the voice. By far the best group of contestants of any season. As far as the teams being more versatile and mixed genre's gives a better view of everyone's own abilities. As I said before the best of the best musicians and singers are the ones who can shine in multiple genres.
