DAYWALKER" THEORY (I thought this and Bonefactory asked if this means she is a daywalker).... Ellie's mom might have been just getting infected as Ellie was delivered as a baby? Marlene might have always known that Ellie might have had an option to be different. Hence why keeping Ellie with Fedra ... just in case of a late change!!!! So is she a daywalker? @Bonefactory in a way, yes! She is in an actual mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship w the cordyceps. Therefore, after she gets two fingers bit off, they grow back, so she can play the guitar again. And one more mutation opportunity in her kids could go different ways. Hence why I want HER to have twins. One twin can consistently pass on a far more acceptable immunity to his children, but the other twin takes a turn for the not so acceptable. And maybe they mature a wee bit faster, turning us into earlier reproductive cycles, more like other species. But ... we may end up having to cull the babies that don't turn out right. That will be the compromise until someone can pre-screen them as embryos. Or we can find a way to halt fast mutations as the cordyceps invades each new embryo. We might have to have everyone have their babies IVF to control what happens.

The more I watched the more I started thinking “ Damn was I wrong about that “. He did a great job like you said. BTW, did you continue and watch Narcos Mexico ? That was another one that was amazing and the actors did a phenomenal job playing their roles. Felix was crafty but Amado took it to another level ! Watching how the Cali cartel moved was unbelievable and how much power they had until the end, anyway.

I read a story from someone on set that after a really long shoot, one of the guys breaking down and packing up stuff was getting yelled at to work faster. Apparently, Pedro told the yelling guy to lay off because dude was clearly exhausted and then helped him carry a bunch of stuff. It was just a personal anecdote, so I don't know if it's true, but it fits with the kind of things others have said about him.

Had a roommate in college that would get the Ambien shuffles in the middle of the night. She'd wander into the kitchen and start to make food and eat, then go back to bed. ​@@منيرالنمر-ث3م No, Ambien (a sleeping medication) causes really erratic behaviour if you take one and don't go to sleep or wake up while still under the influence of the medication... For me personally Ambien has pretty much literally saved my life as it's the only sleeping medication that works for me without making me a total zombie in the morning and that I don't have to take every single night but only whenever I know I won't be able to fall asleep naturally (having dealt with chronic intermittent insomnia for almost 30 years I know the symptoms well ahead of time) but the missus hates it when I don't go to bed _immediately_ after taking the pill because otherwise I may end up wandering around our apartment for hours just doing all sorts of weird stuff and mumbling all sort of nonsensical BS

Ambien is crazy stuff, I had a prescription for it when I was a teenager. I once snuck into a high school auditorium in the middle of the night and wandered around for a while. I didn’t go to that school but my friend did, he told me that there was a bomb shelter underneath the school and a series of underground tunnels that connected all the buildings together. For whatever reason this fascinated me and one night after taking my Ambien I got the bright idea to break into his high school and find it. I actually did find the entrance, there was a hatch on the ground outside with a ladder that went underground. I ended up crawling through a tunnel that led to the stage in the auditorium. I remember finding the storage room for the drama department and played with props and costumes. Eventually the Ambien wore off and I thought to myself “what the hell am I doing here?” I then made my way out of there and went home. Thinking back, I did a lot of stupid thing when I was on it. That’s stuff is no joke. If you take it you better go to sleep right away. If you aren’t in bed when it kicks in you will get some crazy ideas.

My husband won't take sleeping pills for anything. He has terrible insomnia. He'd be up all night, work all day and be up all night until he crashes and the cycle restarts. He said the sleep medication made him depressed, lazy, made him hear stuff in his head (this I found creepy) and hungry. And when he told the doctor he said those are side effects he has to live with and tried to prescribe more medication for the depression! He's refused to try any kind of sleep aid since. I begged and he ate 2 melatonin gummies and could barely open his eyes for almost 3 days. Now will take a walk, which soothes him and he will sleep a few hours each night now.

Ambien is no joke. I had a friend who was recovering from treatment for cancer. The stress of the experience had created occasional insomnia, so her doc prescribed Ambien. One night my friend was restless, couldn’t sleep and decided to take an Ambien. She dozed off. Later she was awakened by her teenage son who had arrived home after an evening out with friends. He had been instructed to wake his mother once he got home, and so he did. My friend got out of bed and spent a half hour chatting with her son. Then they both headed off to their bedrooms. The next morning, my friend awakened her son and demanded to know where he’d been all night. At first she wouldn’t believe that he had indeed come home on time and that they had talked together for a while after he checked in. Finally part of her mental fog lifted, enough for her to believe her son. She then proceeded to throw out the remaining contents of her Ambien prescription. “I’d rather stay awake and be tired than take an Ambien for sleep. Sleep isn’t what you get. It’s more like instant, transitory dementia. Creepy.”

I have to take Ambien if I have any desire for anything, even slightly resembling normal sleep (I sustained a serious TBI, and ever since, insomnia has been awful). I've only had the "not remember something" happen a couple times. Once was forgetting what I had seen on an episode of Criminal Minds, and the other time was watching Deadpool 2. As I rewatched both, I recognized everything as I was watching it, but at no point could I have told you what was going to happen next. 🤣 The only real problem that I have with Ambien, which I have thankfully pinpointed so I can avoid the issue in the future, is that if I haven't gotten much sleep the night before, i.e., less than 4ish hours, the Ambien can knock me out instantly with no warning whatsoever after it starts to take effect. I'll give you an example. Let's say I wasn't able to fall asleep the prior night, even with the assistance of Ambien, until 4 am, but have to be up by 7 am. The next night, I take my Ambien at 9 pm. If I don't get everything turned off and get into bed before 2.5-3 hours have passed, I'll have a couple of outcomes. 1. Best case scenario, I wake up several hours later, sitting in my recliner fully clothed with the lights and TV still on, with only a stiff neck and the occasional swelling in my lower legs and feet. 2. Which has been the most common scenario, is that I wake up as my face hits a wall or door that I'm trying to walk through because I'm dreaming and there's nothing there in my dream (I should also mention that I have "Epic Dream Disorder" (EDD). As soon as my eyes close to go to sleep, I start dreaming instantly. My brain doesn't wait for REM to start like those without EDD). If I'm lucky, I recognize what's going on, and I'm able to quickly remember to turn everything off and go straight to bed. 3. The scenario running a VERY close 2nd to #2 is that I'm in the middle of trying to do something, e.g., brushing my teeth, filling up a water bottle, any sort of mundane task that you wouldn't be doing in bed, and instantly fall asleep doing it. Then I wake up and keep trying to finish whatever it is I'm doing, not recognizing that I need to just stop and go to bed. I have attempted to fill a single water bottle for what ended up being 3 hours one night. 4. The worst scenario, which has also been the least common, although not rare enough, and THANKFULLY, hasn't resulted in any more carnage, mayhem, and injury than it has is when I've fallen asleep then reawaken because I'm in the process of falling! I've busted my head, both elbows, shoulders, knees, and hands, one hip, a Zero Water 32-cup water filter/dispenser, a bookcase, a few gallon jugs of water, and two arms of an antique lamp that I've come to find could be worth several $thousand. Prior to my TBI, I was a better than average athlete. Although my strength, agility, speed, quickness, and balance were all negatively impacted by my drain getting bramaged, I owe more than one mid fall awakening recovery to the training and exercise of yesterday. The morals of this excruciatingly long comment are as follows: (🧠+damage)=Bad, (Exercise+physical fitness)=Good, and Ambien, while a wonderful tool in the ongoing struggle to get a good night's sleep, is something that shouldn't be taken lightly, but doesn't need to be feared. Hopefully, most people prescribed Ambien aren't like me living alone. Be sure to discuss all potentialities with whomever you live. If you find you're having aberrant behavior when taking Ambien, see if you can discover any patterns, like I have (💩 sleep the night before), and make some adjustments. Sleep is UNIVERSALLY the most overlooked aspect of human health. Lack of sleep has become an epidemic in America. Issues like obesity, heart disease, cancer, mental illness, digestive issues, social and work problems would all benefit or disappear by everyone simply getting the sleep we need. As I type this, I have COVID. I've had all but this Fall's booster, so it's a mild case. But my point is that I would most likely not have even gotten sick if I hadn't had to pull an all nighter moving my elderly mom into a new apartment. I started at 4 pm last Wednesday and finished at 8:15am on Thursday. I didn't get to sleep until Thursday night and woke up with what I believed were allergies on Friday. I tested positive for COVID on Saturday. I never, and I repeat NEVER get sick, unless I've missed a night of sleep or have not gotten very much sleep. That isn't to say I always get sick after a crappy night's sleep (if so, I'd have been made to live in permanent quarantine by now 🤣), but I haven't gotten sick without a bad or total lack of sleep the night before since I was in elementary school. 🤷‍♂️ 🤘🖖✌️

I'm curious why nobody is taking better care of him. I also always had insomnia and it can make me very cranky which doesn't go well with socializing BUT my pediatrician told me to never mess around with sleeping pills even if it affects my grades because once you start with that it will do more harm than good long term. So now I just chose jobs where I I don't have to deal with many people. Cocaine and other shit like this that actors and celebrities have to take to be "likable" is a big issue, toxic positivity is NOT ok.

Man child speaking here, clearly sad about macho assumptions he lied in the game...the developer of the game was present for the series, he needed to make the character of Joel, real, a tough guy in his 50s, one that would appeal to a broad audience, many of whom had never even heard of the game. Joel is a pretty ruthless guy in some episodes, such as 8 and 9.That tells is all we need to know. So it's ok to snap a non infected kid like a twig...to show macho? I think it is important to be able to listen to, and validate what ethan is feeling, without necessarily believing what he says to be completely true.
