The optional thing for killing the attack leader in Mixed Legacies should have an effect. I believe it's one of the things that's graded in the final quest. Basically, one event in each quest will be tracked. The more of them you accomplish, the better the rewards at the end will be. For Whispering Bones, it's not ALWAYS about cheering Roland up. There's at least one time when you need to be a little harsh with him for the best effect.. There's also a THIRD way to deal with Sagard in Ancestral Peacemaker. ;) There's a certain quest where he'll owe you a personal favor, which you can use in that instance.

Thanks for clarifying some of the dilemmas. :D Great to know that these options have even more depth. Yea it was not logical to me that the optional quest for mixed legacies didn't have any effect. That's probably the reason why I got the mediocre ending with Roalnd, since I did always try to cheer him up. It's good to know that we don't have to spend the precious tsar stone, or fight Sagard to be able and convince him. Thanks Drakan!

If you think about it, joining Sorobor Academy as a faction completes a sort of set, given three of your friends each join one of the other factions.

Anyone going for the tribal favor should run straight to him as soon as you load into the beach. My first time I waited and walked around a bit and when I came back he was dead.

I think that’s a glitch, I gave my main character a nice fancy high fantasy name but when I started the game I was named Jim and didn’t notice until way later

Funny thing. I finished Elden Ring and thought to myself what to play next. I remembered I stopped playing Outward like a year ago. So I decided to continue it, well without any clue about the controls I just smashed my way through Monsoon and voila apparantly I finished this game. Talking about let down end :D

i find outward harder to complete than elden, i still havent completed all of outward (ALL trophies). All the factions and getting all the weapons/items. In elden tho im on run 5 and have every single weapon and talisman(Plat trophie). Idk what u smash ur way thru tbh. Monsoon isnt the end. You have caldera and new sirreco or however its spelled.

Beat fort Vendval before leaving the 1st map Cheronese you will snuff out the bandit problem and won't have to come back

im confused with giants quest line. you kind of jump around and im not sure which order to do everything. when i first visit the king do I also visit the other giant to get the quest for that book then i can go get both the book and the plant or do i go get the plant, bring it back then talk to other giant about book and go do that next

I guess not matter the order, what you should do is avoid talking to the king (Cyr) before having everything to increase your knowledge about the giants. So go and get the THREE roots in the Giant tree. Get the book that the giant merchant says, also go to Monsoon and talk to the man inside the Elatt temple or church LOL 😂, after that try to get a giant heart (by killing a giant or by going to chersonese inside the tryglodit’s cave. Having all that will increase your power in the negotiations with Cyr/king of the giant. Not matter the order, the thing is you should have as much as possible to convince the giant’s leader to join the blue chambers.

When you talk to cyr choose the dialog in parentheses which will be the first option ( the one from the knowledge gotten or objects found for cyr )

If you get the best outcome to the Ash Giants quest you get a passive skill called Giants Blood which gives you +40hp

You can also get health from the trainer in cierzo for 50 silver. I think it's +25 or +40

Just got the game only i don't like is on the map theres no player marker. Everything else feels good I hope they add an option please

You can add a mod that will place a player marker on map for you. It is hosted on Nexus Mods. :)

You get used to it honestly. It makes the game more immersive and fun since you legit have to navigate each map to find your location and desired travel destinations. Much like real life maps without gps aid
