Thanks for the quick overview, looks good 👍 Is this your new family tent or just for review? We have a 2013 Bear Lake 6 plus the side awning, absolutely love it. Outwell make some cracking tents and the Monty in all its guises is definitely one of them. Atb.

How does the air tents do in really cold weather, like snow? And also in desert conditions?

These tents do well during the camping season throughout Europe, which is what they are made for. I wouldn't want to use them in extremes, though they might be fine. If it is really hot, you are meant to release the air out of the tubes so that as the air expands, it doesn't bust the tubes. I imagine in cold weather you'll have to inflate the tubes a little as the air contracts.

Hello how does this perform in high winds, was thinking of getting an air tent until i saw a video on youtube of an outwell airtent collapse in 28-40 mile an hour winds. Thanks

We've had no problems in the wind with this tent, nor with the previous one we had, the Hornet XL. The Air Tubes have always been strong and provided plenty of support. We've also been recently using an air framed caravan awning in the wind, and that worked well too. So from our experience, we've not had any issues with air tents in the wind.

Yes. Outwell have modified the design slightly this year. There website states that there's still mesh doors :-) www.outwell.com/en/Products/tents/smart-air-polyester-tent-collection/montana-6sa
