This might be a stupid question, but more watts on load side is better correct? Basically 48 is great 55 would be better?

Is the water method your preferred way to clean them as well?

Hi Jeremy! no I spray them out with Lectra electronics cleaner. As I mentioned in my 12T video if the commutator is dirty use a dab of brasso and hand crank the motor until the grinding smoothes out. Then clean with electronics cleaner and reoil the bushings.
