Yes it's their traditional outfit, Efiks of Calabar tradtional attire. They may have been influence by the colonial European missionaries who came to live amongst them, while spreading Christianity. The beads are made from coral and most Nigerian ethnic groups use it. @Kei Adams Am Ibibio notice that I explained to the original comment that the dress was Efik traditional attire. IBIBIOs are not copying or wearing it🙄. U must not realize that they're related ethnic groups in Akwa Ibom to Efik😕. If you notice any Ibibio bride from Akwa Ibom wearing it would be Uruan brides, which a lot are dressing more like other Ibibio brides now a days. Besides them the other groups in Akwa Ibom that wear it are ORON, who have the same tradition like Efik. Apart from that most Nigerians always confuse Efik as a sub-group of Ibibio, so they always label Efik as Ibibio online. All you have to do is educate people, no need to insult🤔
