Hey everyone, given the NHL's current stoppage I am going to try to get more stuff out for everyone to watch especially since the NHL isn't providing much archived stuff for fans beyond the stuff that's been on their site for the last 4 years. I have a lot of recording and editing still to do before almost all of the videos I have planned are ready to go and my internet currently uploads videos at a rate of approximately 1 GB every 7 years so in the meantime check out the playlist I've been keeping of over 300 Capitals full and partial games from 1978-2016. 2005-2010 Prime OV was untouchable, his teams always let him down in those early years. Ovie pretty much rebuilt the Washington Franchise into success from ground up.

in 2008 i was in my senior year of highschool, on my schools hockey team. I was such a big ovy fan, and watching him inspired me to push it the most i had. i ended the season 2nd in goals, 27 goals in 23 games, only missing 1 game all year. ill never forget that season as every time ovechkin scored i watch that goal many times over until he would score another. what a player. no one has ever been able to inspire me like that before. his energy reaches worldwide!

I was at this game. This and the dueling hat trick game with him and Crosby in the playoffs are the two games I am glad I was in attendance for. Both games were incredible.
