Also, you do NOT have to use the oven. This method works very well with air drying too. I just use the oven because I'm impatient. 😁

Fun fact: at 200° C or above, baking soda starts to transform into washing soda (sodium carbonate), which is much more alkaline and has a slightly different texture. Due to how thicc that bricc is, I guess you would have to bake it for at least 3 hours to have it completely transform into washing soda.

I suffer with PICA I would chew it. I still do when im stressed but the chunks are so relaxing to crunch on. The taste is salty, weird but oddly satisfying. Im about to dump out.over 30lbs tho. I wanna quit chewing it Its tough tho

I don't have a dehydrator, so I will need to use a regular oven. At what temperature should baking soda reforms bake? I'm impatient too 🤤🤤🤤

This is a very old way of making these. Air drying is just as effective and it also is better. Using the oven turns the baking soda into a washing soda. I'm not too familiar with the scienecey part of that thought. But if you still want to use the oven i did it at 200°

Its powder pigment, you can also use food coloring

You can use silicone molds, aluminum pans or even baking pans, i have used them all. Aluminum and baking are the easiest.

Name of the colors I mean... and 2. If I air-dry it, I let it be in the mould only? How do I take it out of the mould without breaking the block? Thank u so so much already 💓 💗

I dont remember the name of the colors you can use any color though. Air drying just wait a couple days then put a tray or plate and top and flip it over. It should fall out in one piece

On the pica side of ASMR they do a waterless baked cornstarch that turns into a brick. Magic really.

It really depends on how big or small you make it and how much water you put. I made a big one not long ago using this method and let it air dry and it dried in about 3 days.

Not really... The texture changes. You can try but use caution with water amount. It will get harder.
