Curious from your comment. I typically don't talk/text anyone. Why do you think this channel is "liked"? Why do you/we go to sleep listening to scary/ morbid stories? Shouldn't we have a feeling of "fright" ? A jolt of adrenalin from fear? It should make us not sleep. I'm guessing we've had things happen in our lives past.

@@sharahmaples8818 My reasoning for listening to these type of scary stories.... I love horror and scary stories. I have my whole life. My husband is the one who introduced me to listening to these videos. Whether we are driving to the store, in a trip personally or for work (I used to be a Semi truck driver and used to drive up to 11 hr days) so listening to these made time fly by and I love all the different stories I heard. Not only do I love to hear the stories but I think it's the reader's voice that helps relax me. Kinda like it lures me into a sleep state now that I listen to them to help me sleep as I have insomnia.

I love these stories in general across youtube. Mr. Revenant its nice to meet you and thanks so much! great channel! A lot of victims seem to announce they called police and have weapons to defend themselves. Honestly though, I'd never tell the robber or criminal anything. This way they have no idea cops are coming and increase chance cops incarcerate the perpetrator after 911 called. Why give people a chance to rob someone else? haha.

As a police officer, I agree. I wouldn't mention anything about being armed, either--let them find that out the hard way, too. I've always thought that letting the had guy know what you have gives them a tactical advantage. You want the tactical advantage. So if you're cooking soup on the stove and your intent is to throw the boiling liquid on them in self defense, then crack them with the soup kettle... Don't let them know. Let them be surprised.

9:14:48 obviously writer doesn’t realize that when you leave all the lights on interior, then anyone spying on you from outside at night can see your every move backlit. Better to turn all but some night lights near the floor on (so you don’t stub your toe), and turn on any outdoor lights- that will blind them to your interior, and illuminate them if they get too close. Get a motion activated light if you can, and many come with battery backup. You can mount it inside a window if there’s an issue outside.
