Ugandan immigration authorities carried out a targeted operation in Kabalagala, Kansanga, Muyenga, and Ggaba Road in Kampala to address undocumented immigration. During the operation, 127 individuals suspected of immigration violations were arrested for further investigation. Over 200 foreign nationals were confirmed to be in compliance with Ugandan immigration laws. The arrested individuals came from various countries, including Eritrea, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Somalia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and China. Those found to be in violation of immigration laws will face legal proceedings according to Ugandan law.
