@kenyafinest9642 жыл бұрын
I feel Jules about being the single one in a group of married and partnered friends. I generally pull away from people when I’m struggling with something and find it easy to talk to a therapist. I’m very guarded about opening up to people due to being burnt in previous friendships(and they are very understanding off it). I will show up for friends and if I’m not able to I let them know. 1 or 2 Friendships have also ended as my being single seemed to be an issue. It was the judgement and making it a pity thing and downright being condescending. I had to choose my well-being. It’s ok for a friendship to run its course. I am also very mindful about sharing my wins, I would not want to overwhelm anyone in the event they are not experiencing highs in their lives.

Girrrl the last point is so me. I don't overshare my wins because I don't know what my friend(s) is/are going through at that moment. I have always thought I am bad for feeling low when my things are stagnant and my friends are winning (I want them to win, but I also want to win). But this episode has shown me that we are only human. My best friend on the other hand overshares her wins and she knows I am not doing great. It bothers me alot but this is where I clap for her and mute where and when I can to catch a breath.

Goodness Gracious! this show is the gift that keeps on giving with the TMI duo being the cherry on the already delicious sundae. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ the topic but most especially the part where in any given r/s, pple should clearly communicate what they expect/need/want from each other(realistically). Your friends are not clairvoyant nor are u, to expect pple to know what you want without telling them,so Speak It! The part abt the transitioning & navigating the muddy waters of friends/business, that happens alot even amongst siblings who own communal property. The first rule of thumb is knowing when to switch out ya sibling hat & pick up the business partner hat...if u can't do that,that's how family businesses end up crumbling. Thanks beautiful ladies, we enjoy u immensely. Watching Lydia listen so intently as someone speaks is beautiful.
