Yeah, photons are pretty rare to hit. You just got lucky 😅 I was lucky enough to hit a photon Magomed in my 1st blaster too. Every set will have different parallels to look out for. It’s a lot to grasp. But you’ll get it. Good luck on collecting man! I’ve got tons of videos. I opened everything from every set last year. 🙏👊🤙

Don’t regret it Brotha, it’s all the game. You definitely learn. If you just had like $100 blasters are definitely the way to go. But if you can afford it. Hobby EVERY time.

That optic hobby was rough considering the prices optic singles are at. You could clean up on colors for 350. Do you think first year optic will be popular in 5 years

Yeah, if you’re just looking for color, singles are definitely the way to go. But I’m still finishing up my base set. So, I don’t mind the base cards. As far as holding value. It depends. I wouldn’t think ANY base sets are gonna be worth $. but I’d assume the same as any other set. Certain cards and parallels will always have value. It’d be hard to see a 1st year downtown product not holding. Anything that’s got the 1st something in, should do alright. But at the same time. I’m an idiot that’s gonna buy this and open it no matter what. I’m really just a collector and UFC fan. I’m not one to “invest” in UFC cards. Too many factors

Imo best to just buy singles if ya can thats unless you really have lots of money to burn bc honestly 95% of sealed won't even make half cost back so even the best banger boxes end up losing with how prices & quality control are currently.... It's why i live vicariously watching boxes ripped here lol.

Excited to see how this shakez out is another 1/1 coming? Oh & I really lucked out stumbled across a Ukranian eBay auction ending last night for a Sean Strickland Immaculate Shadowbox Auto #/99 RC... Guessing others weren't sure about the risk coming from Ukraine bc I was worried myself but figured I'd better try winning it & waiting the month for it to hopefully show up. Only bidder so got it for $19.99 + $9.99 S&H so less than $35 all in. So an Immaculate Shadowbox Rookie on card auto #/99 of my favorite current fighter 4 cheaper than some of his Optic autos?!?!? Yeah, I couldn't resist & had to take the chance lol. So Keep your fingers crossed that it shows up safe & sound 4 me so can finally add SS auto 2 my PC. Much love, stay safe, & enjoy cardboard!
