Great video! I’m in that stage where my skin needs something different. Most foundations I’ve sampled simply have too much coverage or end up being drying. Very glowy foundations end up showing every pore. I might have to try one of these.

I also wish Jones Road didn't have fragrant essential oils. Until they add a fragrant free product, I't a no-go for my skin and allergies.

Couple things: Bobbi is using the EO’s as preservatives in JR complexion products. They don’t always work and they’re terrible for those of us with allergies. I liked the way WTF wore, but it’s messy and unhygienic in the pot and sticky for me. The Maxine’s Revenge approach is called “French Face” application technique, it’s not the way American people wear makeup. I haven’t tried that brand yet, but have seen mixed reviews for dry, mature skin (of course everyone has different skin/opinions/experiences). Of them all, I’ve heard the best about Sara Creale complexion items. I do like some JR, just not the skincare or the complexion products. We’re the same age! I somehow lost almost half my subscriptions and have to find them all again. Great video! 😊💜

@@FrugieBlog I’ve had to hunt you down at least 3 times! I’ve noticed after an app update or system update, I wind up losing about 10-15 (or more) subscriptions. Gets so frustrating! I need to start taking screenshots of my subscriptions. I did find you on another platform and thanks to Cate The Great. I think I’ve lost her here twice! I know I’m missing more and have to try to find them again. I’m a frustrated, menopausal GenX woman! 😂🫠💜

I almost purchased salt new york awhile back. I purchased seint makeup and cannot get it to work for my dry skin no matter what I try. I have no idea if they are similar products but it is a similar concept.

Salt is VERY different from Seint. Seint is an MLM or was, and while there's a visual similarity in the product being in pans- it is not the same philosophy. The colors and textures of Salt have worked so well for me!

I am 61 and have combination skin and love Salt ! I tried Seint and just couldn’t get it to work for me . I felt the products just sat on my face and couldn’t blend . Salt is amazing glides on and looks like you have nothing on ❤❤❤

I really wish Jones Road would offer an unscented version. I get why people like to have the scent, but it would be nice to have an option for those of us with allergies. I really want to try Salt New York. For some reason I thought the concealer and sneaky balm had some ingredient I’m allergic to, but it looks like I was mistaken.

@ For what it’s worth on my screen the Rituel side looked best and really beautiful! The others looked like visible makeup and not as good a shade match. Of course it’s a matter of preference (I like the lightest possible foundation if I am even wearing it) and the screen image may not reflect reality.
