There is nothing wrong in listening to anything just to relax. Honestly, I sometimes fall asleep listening to the best narrations. I later listen to them again to learn whatever they are about. Sometimes I listen to what I heard already just because I find the narration lulling. After all, we wouldn't listen to these wonderful narrators if they told us utter nonsense or something we don't like. And there is a re-watching value to such all-around great videos.

Comment #2 This is about the first story. I don’t usually get emotional about the historical/old cases…but this one made me cry. An entire family; women & children included, taken from this world just because the father owed that man a few pence. 😢 For once I was ecstatic to hear that the murderer was swiftly given the death sentence. Yes, British true crime is my favourite. I remember back in the day when I used to watch crimewatch UK. Some of the UK cases on there were so eerie, especially with the reconstructions. Anyway so many underrated cases in the UK, so it's good to see a huge video covering them thanks

It's still unsolved but people think it was cause she was tryna uncover Saville at the time. Then again I always thought it could've been cause of one of the cases she covered on crimewatch

On reflection, I may not have considered all possibilities here. I guess if your work is as a night watchman or some situation that means simply being there, then you’re right, it’s possible to do your work and watch some KZbin video. My apologies for ‘jumping the gun’ as it were. I’m sure you are an admirable worker and a good person. My reason for the views I held, stem from my long experience as a Construction Manager. In the mornings, it became the usual practice for many people to check their personal emails, followed by Facebook, Twitter and whatever else they subscribed to. This would often take them up to morning tea, at which time they would extend that, and every meeting we had, into a personal social occasion. As you can imagine, their hourly rates were considerable and when viewed over a longer period, amounted to huge costs. Because of my need to hold many meetings per day, I became fanatical about adhering strictly to the agenda. Chatter was quickly seized on and the offenders told to take their meeting offline, because we are in a different meeting. So again, my apologies if I offended anyone. Cheers.

I love this stream. I could listen to this voice 24/7 and the storytelling is amazing. I watch a ton of true crime shows and I cringe every time I hear about people with less than stellar parents. As a mother and grandmother, I can't fathom rejecting my children for any reason and I've done my fair share of trips out at 3am to collect other people's kids from various dangerous locations because their parents threw them out at 12-16 years old. What kind of careless moron does that?! And we wonder how these people grow up to do such terrible things. Well, some people wonder. I, however, do not.

My mom has schizophrenia and was very symptomatic whilst me and my three siblings were young. Thankfully we come from a huge family and had our grandparents to take care of us. Today, my mom is doing so much better and is able to be a wonderful grandmother herself. Anyways, when we were teenagers, one thing I’m always proud of my mom for, is that she knew my elder sister had a few friends that came from broken homes, so she always had a pot of soup or something delicious for them to eat and let them crash at our house whenever they needed, as she knew they were good kids, they just needed to be loved. Because of my mom and others I believe in community and that we should help each other out whenever and however we are able, and that doing so makes the world a better place. Also, I have a 12 year old daughter and from some of these videos I’ve watched, I’ve already discussed with my husband that when she’s older I want her to inform her friends that they can call us at any hour of the day or night and we will give them a ride home instead of them walking or catching a ride with someone they don’t know. I’d much rather be woken up in the middle of the night to deliver them home safely than read in the paper that something awful happened.

I am the same….rather was the same. My son is 30 years old now, so I don’t have wayward teens hanging around anymore. 😊 But when he was young his friends knew they were always welcome at our home and always welcome to eat or drink anything in the fridge or pantry. Our next door neighbor showed up at the door the day after we first moved into our new house and asked me if I had any kids his age that he could play with. 😂 Lucky for him, I DID! They became great friends and he was at my house all the time. His mother would lock him out of the house every morning and wouldn’t allow him back in until she got home for the night. 😢 He was well know by the local police because his mother tried to have him arrested for “stealing food” from his own home…at 12 years old!! She had two other children that she treated completely opposite from him. He had an older sister and younger brother who were treated like royalty by their mother. So, he ended up traveling with us quite a bit as well as being at our house all of the time. It gave my son someone to play games with and keep company with when we went on vacation, so I worked out well for everyone. 😊 After my son was grown and out on his own I took in my 16 year old goddaughter. She was going to run away from home, so I told her parents that I would take her in that way they would know that she was ok and being taken care of properly. I homeschooled her while she lived with me. Finally, she decided to return to her mom’s house so she could graduate with her classmates. She had been with them all from Kindergarten through grade 10. After graduation, she went to college…first in that family to do so. At the time I had two vehicles, so I gave her free reign on my Tracker the entire time she was in college. She’s now 24 years old and just became a mommy. So, I’m kinda a new grandma. ❤😃 I believe that I’m like this because my mother was the same with me, my friends and the friends of my siblings. Everyone knew that they always had a safe place they could go to if their parents kicked them out. They also knew that they would be fed if they were hungry and nursed back to health if they were sick. My mother was always welcoming and kind with all of our friends as well as family members. I was lucky to have parents that taught me compassion and kindness, so I guess I just pay that forward. ✌🏻💕😊

I was particularly interested in the Gibson case because I still have some memorabilia from my parents' voyage to South Africa on the Durban Castle in 1953. The photo shown at 35:20 is dated over a decade after her death. It was taken by a member of the crew from the Durban Castle bound for South Africa on 19th July 1958 between Ascension Island and St Helena in the south Atlantic. The other vessel is the Dunnottar Castle on her final homeward bound voyage prior to being sold and subsequently converted into a cruise liner.
