Over-Biking the Grav Grav | Salsa Cassidy Ride

I borrowed a full suspension mountain bike from Dirty River Bicycle works - it was the first time I had ever ridden anything like it. The MTB was a Salsa Cassidy. I didn't get the chance to take to the real MTB trails but I did cruise on some Industrial Gravel and secret trails. It was a fun experience but not what I expected...

I don’t think you would notice much difference at Hampton. At Tuscazoar, oh man… so much confidence on uphill techy stuff and rocks. East rim would have been a good test too.. hit the handful of rock beds.

That’s a sweet FS bike, I sometimes ride my Hardtail plus bike or my FS bike on gravel rides just to change things up, nice ride!

Good video. I recently purchased an older Trek 920 for riding rough city streets and light off roading. So far I have enjoyed the ride and found the bike to be very capable on dirt gravel or rough pavement.
