Hello everyone~ I'm Dekay.
Today I made a storage that automatically lifts using a gas cylinder.
When it is lifted, it sticks to the ceiling and is great for taking advantage of the space.

Wow, My charm, excellent video, even though I am a novice, it is very good to learn something new every day and if that helps you have some super income. I like woodworking projects and I have learned little by little, these days I found a super place where you have thousands of projects and complete plans and at the hand of what you want they let me download 40 plans and a super carpentry book, super interesting. Well done as always! I plan to build at least one. I'm liking the gas spring idea more and more rather than using ropes and pulleys per other designs. I suggest using a garden fence type quick latch to hold the shelves in the stowed position in case the gas springs don't hold.

Well this reminds me of the Woodshop Junkies' Ultimate Garage Workshop Storage Solution. Basicaly this is more or less the same idea, but with the help of gas cylinders. Both of the videos are great and informative, so if you want to make something similar watch both videos.

I got this inspiration from pinterest's 'swing down over head storage'. And after designing, I found out that there is a similar video on KZbin. It's really sad. If I had known it before, I could have saved my design time a week.🤣 The woodshop junkies are really cool people. I admire the woodshop junkies that made great work first. Thank you.

I would prefer to attach the holding belt to the shelf itself, maybe, and then you could also use it as handle. This is better, if the shelf is high. Otherwise - really nice.
