But God, He is the Alimighty, the Allpowerful, the Omnipotent, and He does everything for us, yet we either ignore it, be greedy, or act like it's something small that isn't worth your time being grateful for. And he still gives us a chance, and then another chance, and then another chance, and you keep sinning. Well, gues what----when the day that you realize what you've done was terrible, and you actually want to apologize and be forgiven, God will forget everything you've done and give you another chance yet again. This is my personal favorite from the album. It's _so good!!!_ And so true! I think it puts into perspective, in an almost casual way, how amazing what Jesus did for us was. It makes me want to pay him back.

LOVE this one!!! It really puts the power of the Atonement into perspective for me. As an introverted perfectionist, it's really hard when I make a mistake, I beat myself up and feel like I'll never do it right again. But this helps me know that I CAN do it, because my Savior is cheering me on and here to help me when I fall. ❤

this song played at my youth concert tonight. It was so upbeat but the lyrics are so strange. I talked to my friends and they were also uncomfortable. I don't really understand why mistakes feel like a weight to some people. The lyrics feel depressing when they say that they should owe their entire soul to jesus for saving us from our fate. That kind of sounds like a deal the devil would make. it also makes me question how we will be punished if we don't repent? I know jesus is in between justice and mercy but why does justice require us to be punished? why should we need to feel indescribable pain for our mistakes? And what is enforcing these laws on us? God can't be doing this if he's only good right?

Adam those are amazing questions. I would like to answer a couple of them to the best of my ability. I think the best way for me to answer is by saying this. God is a just God, he judges us fairly according to our action and our sole purpose on this earth is to rejoin him. However the only way we can do that is if we are perfect and innocent, like him, and adam the saddest part is we are not and will never be perfect like him that is why justice requires us to be punished and even then its not technically a punishment for it is what we deserve because we are not perfect and never will be If God is just he must judge us as so. That is why we owe our entire soul to Jesus for saving our fate because Jesus atoned for us. He felt every pain, guilt, sin, physical ailment, and mental ailment then he died for us! Adam the punishment of not repenting is the fairness we deserve, if we don't repent we will not return to our father in heaven and that does feel like a punishment doesn't it? Through the atonement of Christ we are saved, because jesus did what he did for us he has the ability if we ask to take our sins and our guilt from us and in exchange give us his mercy to be perfect and innocent! Remember though that to be innocent you can never make a mistake and so because of christ we, people who sin daily, can repent and start anew over and over. God is doing this because he's good adam, he has provided a way for us to enter his kingdom because he is not only good but just so through his love he provided a solution, the atonement! And adam no one is enforcing these rules on you! God gave you agency to choose to follow or not and the coolest part is that its your choice! If you have any questions that i did not answer or my answers are confusing to you i would plead with you to contact the local missionaries of the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints!
