Nice views from the Bigelows and Flagstaff Lake. Nice you weren’t shrouded in clouds as on earlier peaks climbed. Now I know how LL Bean selected the name for a backpack I once owned.

Oh man I saw the post alert and grabbed some popcorn & coke for this episode! That structure is where they sacrifice all the virgin hikers ha! What a view😍 The landing and takeoff from that airstrip would be dicey. That was some wicked wind -- nice that you had Tadpole to share the day. My rather without doubt is Buffett -- those songs have gotten me through some tough times ❤ RIP Bubba 🤙🌴

Cool that you have someone to hike with!! That wind - holy crap. Parrotheads. I used to follow the band Space Goop at Penn State. Remember them? They were a Dead band. But Buffet music and fans all the way. Glad you finally posted a video. I know you didnt have cell service. But your vids are how I start my day. Btw go back and watch your vid from starting out in Springer. It’s so cute - you were so excited and wished you could bottle what you were feeling which i imagine was excited anticipation. So…if you hit another rough patch…watch that video

JR who owns Cafe was the lead singer in Space Goop. They did a lot more than just Dead stuff. They were great. It’s funny you mentioned my Springer Mtn cheeriness. All of us NOBOs have been commenting on the SOBO Smile most of them are wearing - still all new and excited about their journey. While most of the NOBOs at this point have the “I want to be done” grimace! 😜🤣. Very very few NOBOs are “having fun” at this point. But we are all plugging along and getting happier every day we get close to Katahdin… ⛰️
