Their newest headstrap (super new) is called the s3 pro! It has a built in fan for cooling you off and the battery holds twice the charge. It is the endgame headset. Although its $90

Does the BoboVR battery really increase battery run time of the Q3? On Reddit they discuss it's not supporting the 9V 2A the Quest needs to be charged - only 5V?

Yes. I bought the M2 with 2 batteries and adapters separately. On my quest 3 I get just over an hour out of each battery pack and only lose 5-10% of battery on my headset for each battery in the process. All in all I have around 80% on my headset after 2-2.5 hours, running through two batteries. That 80% will easily get me another hour. It's worth noting that AR is easily the most battery draining thing you can do on this headset. AR games, and spending time in friends homes with our avatars drains the battery dramatically. I typically navigate menus in my virtual home, only using pass through if absolutely necessary, and join group calls with my friends instead of hanging out in our homes together.

@@nyaatama8529 It's not a software solution that will fix this issue. It's a hardware. Problem isn't with the headset itself per-say. It's the fact that the Q3 uses a lot more power than Q2. The good thing is the solution already exists. It's called USB Power Delivery. Bobo just needs to update there batteries with 18 Watt USB PD standards and then up the MAH to about 8,000 MAH and that should give you about 2 hours of playtime without draining the Q3 internal batteries at all. I've been using 20watt PD batteries 10,000 MAH powerbanks for over a week now and they work great on my Q3.

Best battery head strap ever made. People are over reacting about the battery life though.... it performs great as is. I get about an hour of playtime out of my quest three with each battery and only lose 5-10% battery life on the headset each time in the process. I can easily get 3.5-4 hrs of playtime between both batteries and the headset.

​@@blanka4545 I've never used wired headphones with the Quest 3. I use a pair of Bose QuietComfort 45 Bluetooth headphones, which work great. You only need IR light if you want to use the Quest 3 with something like the Index controllers, which is possible.

@@chan13153 i was playing Wireless PCVR with an RTX 3070 Quest 3 it was actually not bad. but i deciede to build a new Gaming computer with 13600K, 48gb 7000Mhz ram. Few m.2 and an RTX 4080. This is heaps and bounds better but id say that 3070 are good enough for PCVR.

@@Obedthian-UK No the bobo battery sucks. It's not designed for the Q3 and thats the problem. It's good for powering the Q2 but not the Q3. Bobo needs to release a new battery that uses the USB Power delivery standards of 9v/2a (18watt) and increase the MAH to about 8,000mah. This should solve all the problems and be able to power the Q3 fora bout 2 hours without the Q3 draining at all.
