I just bought a Nitro Z20 pro package with mostly the same, did not up grade the electronics, stayed with a 10 on dash and a 9 on bow, going to up grade those later, deck lights, sea deck in cockpit floor, dual console, with a Mercury 250. 63,500.00

Since this was one of the original Over/Under videos you did, have you changed your opinion at all. I’ve watched a bunch of them and the Vexus isn’t really far off on price with the other “quality” boats out there. I recently emailed them and their regional sales guy called me within 15 minutes! Pretty impressive I think. He also followed up and had a close dealer call me too see if he could help me. Love the videos keep up the good work!!!

Well I can tell you I had two 10-ft islands that I got rid of because of the drag, the weight, and the old tricks which does about the same thing . Now if I was buying a new boat that came out with the 8-ft power poles which are a lot lighter I wouldn't mind so much. My boat had lowrance electronics of which I've already updated one of them to a 10-in helix just like he put on his and love it. I've always liked birds better than lowrance.

I rode in a VX21 in a Toyota Series event and was not impressed. SLOW and ROUGH was the best way to describe it. That boat vibrated like a tin can going down the lake. I have rode in a new Phoenix, Blazer, Ranger, Nitro, and Vexus this season and the Vexus was hands down my least favorite one to ride in.

I am about to repower my 1992 Ranger with a Yamaha VMax Sho 175 and just the motor with new controls is going to cost $20,000. Thats more than I paid for my entire rig (Boat, Motor, Trailer, Trolling Motor, Electronics and Trailer) back in 1995. Things are a bit out of wack with the fishing industry. Lowrance Ghost trolling motor cost $3,000. Really easy to spend 6-8 grand just for new electronics too. Crazy Money!!!!

The boat does have some cool features but 90K does't keep my attention very long. In fact I quit looking at them to buy right away and my attention goes towards other boats. I have fish a tournament out the back of a Vexus . It's not worth 90k nothing about the boat stood out. Fishing platform and ride was just like a ranger. Stable and Slow. Rough water ride was fine but wasn't blown away. My old Champion has a better ride and the vexus don't hold a candle to a Phoenix, for u guys that will say Champions are no longer around.

@@TeamMarineService not to the level they are being sold for. Just my opinion. But it is disheartening to see that a freshwater fishing boat costs more than any new vehicle I’ve ever bought. I think they are great and don’t begrudge anyone who can own one, but there’s a segment of customers that manufacturers are missing out on. Yes, you can buy a used boat, but some guys would love an affordable entry level boat with warranty. Us weekend guys who work 5 or more days a week don’t really NEED a boat that’s in home mortgage territory. The Skeeter ZX150 is the closest thing I can see to being kind of reasonable while still being something with a little pride of ownership and holding value.

I'd say this makes a great case for aluminum boats, but christ for what they are they aren't that cheap either now days. I have an Xpress X19, but it wasn't a bargain by any means.

Valid points all around there Randy, we personally ain't big fans of Aluminum boats but we have yet to find any bad reviews on those Xpress X series boats. 👍🏻

Small town of around 1200. In Nebraska. Actually you could by a descent house for 40 or 50,000.00. I now my house in California would go for 500,000.00 or more.

@@Rileymanification i payed 80,000.00 for my house and have remodeled some. Know I can get 125,000.00 to 135,000.00 for it now. You can get really nice houses here for 150,000.00 and up, but you can buy a nice one for less like I did and make 30 to 40 when you sale it!!!

Andy a BIG discount but absolutely not free. If that group of people are anything like they were at Ranger they would get a pro into their boat at a very low price to help you on a resale but not free.

Is that your John Deere mower behind you? Did it cost considerably more than the mower they sell at WalMart? Still just cuts grass and you sit on it. ;) But you wanted the best lawn tractor you could get so you bought a more expensive John Deere! Cadilac $90K is a lot for a boat, but what you pay for a boat is only what you pay minus what you sell it for! If you buy a $90K boat and sell it for $70K it cost you $20K... If you buy a $50K boat and sell it for $20K it cost you $30K...... All new Glass Boats have gotten extremely expensive, but EVERY gadget we put on them have gotten alot more expensive. $25K motor, $6000 Poles, $3500 Trolling Motor, you had $15,000 in graphs...

There's a lot of truth here the starting price is getting unjustifiable! Oh and the Deere is our forklift/snow plow/boat mover/do everything at the shop...never mowed the yard with it though!
