Er is maar één oplossing voor vrede aldaar: de tweestatenoplossing komt er niet, die heb ik achter me gelaten. Als we werkelijk vrede, gelijke rechten en vrijheid voor iedere Israeliër en Palestijn willen, dan moet er één seculiere staat komen met een grondwet die dat garandeert voor alle inwoners en het recht op terugkeer van Palestijnse vluchtelingen.

In tandem with the Israeli destruction in Lebanon, the Israeli operations in Gaza continue. Israeli forces attacked a school today that serves as a UN shelter. In the attack, at least four displaced Palestinians were killed and 15 wounded. Israeli forces have repeatedly attacked UN shelters or schools. At least 10 schools have been hit this month alone. Palestinians who are wounded in these attacks do not have any source of medical treatment. Since the Israeli army took over the Philadelphi Corridor, no medical supplies have entered Gaza. Here at al-Aqsa Hospital, a very small number of medical supplies have come in. But in the north there have been none, and the situation is more disastrous there. This was not the only attack on Gaza today. There were others in Rafah and the central areas. The situation is deteriorating by the day.

@@Ghandi12 For you maybe.... but fact is that at least " human rights and peace" are of some consideration for them, at least on paper and whenever its suits them. On the other hand the mere notion and the idea is foreign to the rest of us in the world. Let's see.... if you were Ghandi ( indian ) and would go get a job in an Arab state south of Persian Gulf, you would earn less than half of your Russian colleague for the same job...and on his turn The Russian would get less than half the salary of the brit. I have never heard people like you complain .....

Hopelijk beslissen ze dat te doen. Israelische bevolking moet begrijpen met wie ze te maken hebben en hun regering deze klus laten klaren. Israelische veredelievendheid is een probleem voor hun toekomst en ze moeten hun vijanden realistischer beoordelen.
