The footage for Bloomerang shows it costing -10 sun at level 2, which seems to be a bug with the Creative Courtyard, as this doesn't happen in other game modes. I can assure you it gets reduced by 5 sun at level 2 and 10 sun at level 3.

(Theory Time) So the reason why jester zombie doesn’t reflect many projectiles is because in the international version, it creates new projectiles when reflecting, sending them back very quickly as well. It was practically copy pasted into the Chinese game, and to somewhat back this up, if you notice nunchaku and hammer zombie, they just deflect, regardless of the position of the projectile (that position being low, medium, high) while jester zombies always shoot back at a medium range, regardless of projectile area (for instance, jester will launch back all peas from peashooter’s pf back in a line while nunchaku and hammer just shoot back the same way they came) TL:DR Jester zombie doesn’t work because the Chinese devs are too lazy 🤷‍♂️

Honestly, I think the levels giving them new abilities is the best way to handle it. The stat boosts are stupid, but giving them new niches as they level up instead makes it much less boring and punishes you less for not grinding.

Peashooter is the definition of "From Zero to Hero!" From one of the worst plants in the game to one of the best. 2C and Brutal Mode EX really love Peashooter! The plant that's meant to be powercreeped instead powercreeped other plants, the only plant that really powercreep Peashooter in 2C is Gatling Pea which is a Legendary Plant.

So basically, at max level: *Peashooter is busted af. *Sunflower can be used to get infinite sun. *Wall-nut is a wizard for some reason. *Potato Mine is now Cherry Bomb. *Cabbage-pult is also busted af and can solo a garg. *Bloomerang costs less the more of them you have. *Iceberg Lettuce is now a ranged attacker (So basically a stronger puff-shroom.) *Bonk Choy learns more moves. *Repeater is weaker than Peashooter somehow. *Twin Sunflower gives you 150 sun when planted despite costing 125 sun (And a 60% chance to give way more due to plant food) *Snow Pea is also worse than Peashooter. *Torchwood never got the buffs from the international version, but he has a lot of health. (Also costumed plant food torchwood quadruples pea damage meaning level 5 peashooter does over 800 damage per shot when behind this) *Cherry bomb spawns potato mine basically Ah yes, such game balance.

Every sun producer in the game used to have ~24s production cycle. While the international version changed that into 36s cycle to "make players level up their plants", the Chinese version never intended to fix that, so Twin Sunflower C. Ver is better than in I. Ver

Several of the plants having balance and bugs from older versions of the international PvZ 2 also seems to apply to the zombies, which is why Ra steals sun extremely quickly. On another note, I think I figured out why Jester sucks in the chinese version while watching this video. Jester likely uses a whitelist for projectiles, while Nunchaku and Hammer use blacklists. That is to say, Jester needs to be told what to reflect, while Nunchaku and Hammer need to be told what *not* to reflect. Why they don't keep it updated though is beyond me.
